The cat turns out to love this pure horse meat. Just as well, because we are at our wits' end finding a food she eats these days. She no longer likes her grain free pellets or any of the BARF we have offered her instead, and the soft food provided by the mainstream retailers is really too, how shall I put it, vegetarian? for a carnivore to digest.We thought the cat might take to tinned pure meat gradually, but it's now on S&S as it is all she wants, she really tucks into it and is showing more liveliness already, which we didn't expect.Need to put in species appropriate supplements such as taurine which adds to the cost, but we now have a very happy cat.
