Love Essie polish overall and really like ‘On Mute’ as a darker grey shade with the very slight bluish undertone. Although for whatever reason, the consistency of this one is quite a bit thicker than any of my other polishes, so doesn’t as easily apply smoothly. Not a huge deal but, does make it a bit annoying when layers are uneven, if wanting to use a matte top coat that shows imperfections underneath more visibly.

Not impressed
Absolutely love the color! However I painted my nails and they were chipping by that evening. Don’t know if this was specific to this bottle or all Essie nail polishes as it was the first one I tried
