Sharp and tools work well. I give it 4 stars due to the mechanism in the clippers sometimes being really stiff sometimes really loose. The sharpness of the tool does dull kind of fast, only have had it for a few months and thinking about getting another. I went to beauty school, and I don't work on others often but it does suck to reach for a tool just for it to be dull.

All you need to trim your cuticles! The triangular tool was new to me but actually super effective. Works great and is sturdy. Trimmer is sharp so just be careful when using it.
