Contrary to the comments of another reviewer, I do not believe "...Running..." is better than "Live at the Paramount", but it is a good album. (Note that it is excerpts, not the complete "Running Back..." recordings) If you like the Guess Who/BTO, you really can't go very wrong with this CD.

I have always liked the Guess who but this CD is in a class of its very own ...highly recommend it.

This will bring smiles of bliss to your face very quickly. These guys are in great form here. Dig the Guess Who.

If you're a fan of the Guess Who, you will appreciate this live performance of some of their greatest hits.

Die kanadische Band The Guess Who in wechselnden Besetzungen und ihre Live-Auftritte waren wohl fast immer allererste Sahne. Eine CD-Sammlung nur mit den Studio-Alben kann das nicht widerspiegeln.Die Aufnahmen hier stammen von einer Tour im Jahre 2000 (68 min: Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, Garry Peterson, Don McDougall, Bill Wallace). Im direkten Vergleich würde ich aber zunächst zu ihrer CD vom Paramount-Konzert 1972 (74 min: Burton Cummings, Kurt Winter, Garry Peterson, Don McDougall, Jim Kale) mit ähnlicher Titelauswahl raten. Die Musiker wirken dort einfach frischer (siehe beispielsweise der verrückt-spontane Übergang von 10 zu 11) als auf ihrem Revival-Treffen.Trotzdem die volle Punktzahl! Freunde von Rock an der Grenze zu Boogie können mit einem Erwerb nichts falsch machen!

Sie werden nicht älter, sie werden immer besser. Starkes Livealbum, was sich nicht verstecken muß! Alles drauf, was drauf sein muß. Der Höhepunkt ist hier mit Sicherheit "American Woman" mit 14min Länge und dabei nicht langweilig. Auch sonst, kommt die Musik sehr gut rüber, Gänsehaut ist garantiert!
