Is this definitely stainless steel? I have seen it described as silver eksewhere which usually looks a but cheap

Depend what are you mixing . Vegetable and fruits with a bit of water yes but not meat. I bought this for making baby food and I wasn’t 100% happy as you can’t wash it in dishwasher (knifes) the plastic jug yes. Anyway the screw in bottom has broke down and it is not as brilliant as it’s look like
