Light Fingering
This cashmere yarn is Light Fingering...3-ply. There's a photo in the description qualifying it as Sport-weight yarn. Definitely not. It's between Lace (2-ply) and Fingering (4-ply). Good for scarves, cowls, hats, etc. If you used it double, it'd probably be good for sweaters. I'm going to start a cowl and see how it knits. I did a burn test on a small strand of the yarn. It burns (and smells) like hair, and not nylon or acrylic, which is good. The price is not quite a bargain, although it's a decent price. Yardage is 273 yds (250m) for Light Fingering, at $16/50g. I have found similar Cashmere for $12/50g on Etsy. All that said, the yarn is nicely plied...not too tight...and is beautifully soft. I bought a heathered color, which is very pretty. I read that the best grade Cashmere is not dyed, so this is not the top grade. But it doesn't seem to "haze" when rubbed...another sign of decent Cashmere. Can't wait to start a cowl and will update how it goes.

NIce yarn
I purchased this yarn in every color except the blue to make a sweater out of granny squares. With the exception of the black, the yarn is very easy to use. I would say the yield is as described as well. So far, I have used about 3 packs of the black , one of the cream and most of a pack of the other colors. The black yarn seems to have more kinks in it, causing tangling of the yarn when you get to the end. I have only been able to use one complete pack of the black. The other two had slubs and imperfections in the yarn that caused it to tangle which is why I only gave 4 stars.. Other than that, I really like this yarn. The colors, especially the green and caramel, are amazing. EDIT: I upgraded my review to five stars. I finished my sweater and it is beautiful!! So soft, lightweight and warm. I saw a sweater crocheted out of cotton yarn on a luxury website for several thousand dollars. I made this one out of cashmere yarn for a couple of hundred. So happy!

Soft and very durable!
I saw people complaining about the quality of the yarn, and that it breaks easily. However, it feels very durable despite being thin. The yarn feels buttery smooth to work with, I recommend using a 2.5 mm crochet hook (us terms) for this yarn. It's not very hard to work with, however, if you're not used to crocheting with thin yarn it might take a second to get into the rhythm. At first I was concerned with how small the ball of yarn was. However, it's great value, as its very thin and the balls compact, so its more yarn than you believe it is. It's expensive but worth the investment, sooo much more breathable, luxurious, and comfortable than acrylic yarn!

NO dye lots! But INCREDIBLE value.
Be advised that this yarn does NOT have DYE LOTS. What you get is randomized and may not match if you need multiple balls for your project even if you order them at once. (Attached photos are all khaki, but you can see one has a slight variance which will likely be more noticeable in a completed garment). Despite that, this is an incredible value for cashmere yarn. I am working on a scarf and the fabric is knitting up lofty and soft with a beautiful drape. Similar yarn can sell for 3x the price. Some reviewers have said they would only use this for accessories and not for garments, but I disagree. This yarn is just as strong as other DKs I’ve used. Would definitely purchase again. Wish more colors were available.

Buyer beware of size of skein. Its really really small
Do not expect what the pictures show. Even the picture of the women holding the skein. This is the smallest skein of yarn I've ever paid that much money for. My fiance' know I was waiting for this yarn & was so excited to crochet a long sweater jacket. He brought in the package after it was delivered (because I'm recovering from surgery) & he said "your going to crochet a sweater with is". It was because the package was SO LITTLE. When I opened it, MY HEART BROKE because the 3 skeins i bought could fit in one hand. Just a warning not to expect a "regular" skein of yarn. Yes, its soft & yes it crochet nicely, if you use two skeins at once to crochet with the size 4 mm crochet needle that was recommended.. However, now instead of my sweater costing the $50 I spent on these 3 skeins, I'm going to end paying 3 times that for the pattern i already bought. When you read a skein of yarn had almost 300 yards, you expect something completely different then what you receive. Just buyer beware & expect a really really small skein of yarn that you'll need to use two skeins at once.

Loved the yarn at first….
Unfortunately, I have to revise my review. The yarn seemed very good at first, nice and soft. I did a burn test on it. This is how you can determine if it is 100% cashmere. Unfortunately, the yarn failed the test. There may be cashmere in it, but I assume no more than 20-30%. Since it felt good in my hand, I decided to start my planned project with it. During knitting, it turned out that in addition to synthetic, there is a mixture of woolen yarn and it flies a lot during work. Unfortunately, I am allergic to wool :(

loved the yarn, its soft warm and light. my first time knitting anything, i used 4.5mm needles to knit a shoulder warmer scarf for my son. I also bought the yarn in olive, but didn’t like the color much so returned it. Hihly highly recommend this yarn. So disappointed they are not selling it anymore... hoping they will restock and sell...

Die Wolle lässt sich super stricken. Das fertige Produkt ist super weich und anschmiegsam. Der Preis ist ok für 100 Prozent Kaschmir.
