You can’t close until you press the two release bottons together on side of restrictor. Restrictor can be unleashed to fully open window **Q: Can it be attached to the top of the window? Does it have to go on the bottom?** A: Most of the very useful catches are attached to the bottom of windows. We have attached one to the top of a door without problem.
