Does the gasket come with the new sending unit

I have a 14 1/2" sender do you sell them here 14" was the longest I could find ?

14" is a perfectly acceptable replacement for a 14 1/2", just give a slightly larger "Empty" reserve. Only a sight glass (or silence) will tell you when the tank is empty. But, use an old fashion yard stick and measure the actual depth of the tank at the sender mount point. You might find that there actually is room for a longer unit. However, be sure to leave at least 1/2" between the sender and the tank wall to allow for vibration and sediment.

I have a tank of 16 3/4 what size probe should I use?

If you mean to say that your tank is 16.75 inches deep, I would use the 15 inch one, because you never want this type of sender to touch the bottom of the tank. I have been in the boat repair business professionally for over 35 years and that would be my recommendation.

How long is the wiring to the gauge

I can’t say for anyone else but my wiring to the gauge is 15-18’. If you are worried about the length run a larger wire. I ran 14 gauge wire.
