The bifocals sit low on the lenses so they don’t obstruct your long distance vision. They are clear and the polarization is effective.

Really like for the car. Very nice clear crisp view. Can glance at my watch and see it clearly now. The brown lens is really nice, I can wear them when them on cloudy days and they seem to brighten things up. The only downside, and this may get better when I wear them more, is I wish the bifocal was a little lower, the line is kind of there at certain times and angles. Wearing outside of the car (walking, fishing etc) this is more noticeable. But, for the price I'm really satisfied, especially if just used for driving!

Just what I needed(car duty) reasonably priced, lightweight, comfortable reader sunglasses. I wanted to be able to read my navigator and phone in the car. Saves me from dragging reading glasses every stop.View is excellent - that is what matters most. I have pairs of RB's, MJ's, and Costa's that are top-notch - but NO reader panes. So I bought these for the car. After comparing, I can say that(obviously) the quality of the frame is lacking, and view not quite as good; though surprisingly NOT by much. Shading for grey model - typical middle of the road. Wrap frame has great coverage - excellent job keeping sun out.Reader Pane - low and in perfect location for quick peeks: GPS, watch, phone, menu's etc. FANTASTIC for driving. Bifocal line is low, blends in, and out of the driving sightline.Highly recommended for the smart shopper needing readers. Wish I had these along time ago.NOW to get into the weeds....IMO polycarbonate scratch resistance is sales folly. I dropped a set of brand new $300 high-end poly sunglasses from the waist, landed on a gravel driveway(3ft drop), and had a ding/scratch in the lens first day of ownership. Had all of the best, wonderful, special, anti-scratch & other coatings a dealer can spend half an hour telling you about.For lens durability and best clarity, I look for glass based lenses. I have several 25 yr old glass sunglasses from RB that are ALMOST scratch/chip free, despite taking MANY modest/minor drops.One point in favor of polycarbonate is that even decent cheaper poly glasses, like these, can present a view ALMOST indistinguishable from high end jobbers. Unfortunately, the lenses are just not as durable as glass..

Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the location of the bi-focal, which is just a bit low for me, but still works great.

I bought and tried several pairs of sunglasses to wear under my full face motorcycle helmet that had to be bifocals as my old eyes struggle too much to see my phone and gps up close. These have a beautiful field of view, are very lightweight and comfortable, slip right into the helmet over the ears and passed my "are they really polarized" test. I'm very happy with them and the price I paid, they even came with a case I keep on my bike.

Having just had cataract surgery and no longer needing glasses for distance vision, I found that I needed sunglasses hen driving to better see the gps and gauges in the car. These glasses work well. Very comfortable, very good quality, and the inclusion of a hard case is a plus. They are a bit large and don't really fit into the sunglass holder, but the case more than makes up for it. I did not rate them an overall 5 stars because I found the bifocal a little small and have to tilt my head back some to get a clear view of the gauges and gps. But overall they are great value for money and do what they are designed for.

The optics in both the clear and reader portions of the glasses are great. The reader portion is the perfect size as it does not interfer with the upper clear portion. The frames are contemporary and comfortable. A great value for the price.
