We do a bit of YouTube and Twitch streaming and thought it would be fun to incorporate some PlayStation 2 games into the mix. Since we have a bunch of retro consoles under our main TV, we did not want to move the PS2 so that it was closer to the streaming PC, nor did we want to use an emulator on the PC. I bought a 15m HDMI cable from here on Amazon, and this well-reviewed splitter which appears to have an amplifier within it to boost the signal. It works perfectly - the PS2's scart lead goes into a Scart-to-HDMI converter. The HDMI from that goes into an HMDMI switch (along with the XBOX 360 and Wii U HDMI outputs). This HDMI splitter is attached to the output from this HDMI switch. One signal from the splitter goes to the TV. The other goes down the 15m HDMI lead to the capture card on the PC. And its brilliant - no noticeable drop in image quality or lag, and perfect in sync audio. We are controlling the PS2 using a wireless Xbox One controller and an 8BitDo receiver for the PS2, also from here on Amazon.

Working amazingly well, the picture quality is top very useful. I use with Xbox and a video capture. You need to connect the USB-C to power the device. No issues at all. Great value for money and very useful. I highly recommend it Straightforward connection

I have 3 of these, 2 replaced life expired mains powered 2012 models, 1 video i/p to 2 video o/p works like a dream powered from a mini USB hub

On setup it worked perfectly which was great. We have one output set at 4K and the other set at just 1080p and all was good - quality was excellent. Later on started to get issues where it seems to refresh every so often causing the screen to blink or go black momentarily (at least every hour but sometimes much more regularly). Then a few days later the sound was getting terribly distorted too and this was lasting for around 10 seconds at a time. When the adapter is removed there are no issues with visual or audio performance. I’ll be returning these as it makes watching TV too frustrating! …hopefully it’s just this adapter and a replacement will be more stable.

I bought this to extend a laptop screen across two monitors. It may be called a splitter and that might imply the ability to extend a single screen across two (three with the laptop), but (as it does say if you read carefully) the device only duplicates a single screen to a second. A fairly pointless function for most people I would have thought. Moreover, it doesn't cope well with two screens of differing native resolution, meaning it's pretty hopeless at duplicating a PC screen if that is all you really needed it to do. It's probably okay if all you want to do is duplicate a couple of 1080P TV pictures, although why you'd want to do that escapes me.

so i will be quick. It's a splitter and if you connect 2 monitors to it you will get 2 same images on both monitors. i sound stupid and it is but i thought i can have 2 independent monitors connected to the same hdmi port so : Make a research before buying instead of doing dumb things like me 🤣🤣

Ich habe diesen HDMI Splitter mit 3,9 Fuß Kabel gekauft, und ehrlich gesagt, ich war skeptisch – wer braucht schon ein weiteres Kabel, das durch den Raum schlängelt? Aber dieser Splitter hat mich eines Besseren belehrt! Zunächst einmal: Die Länge des Kabels ist perfekt! Ich habe meinen Fernseher, meinen Laptop und meine Spielekonsole zu einem Dreiergespann vereint, ohne dass das Kabel wie ein wild gewordener Wurm aussieht. Endlich keine unzähligen Kabelsalate mehr – der Splitter bringt Ordnung ins Chaos! Die Bildqualität? Einfach wow! 4K Ultra-HD sieht auf meinem Fernseher aus, als würde ich ins Kino gehen, nur ohne den Popcorngeruch (den könnte man vielleicht noch verbessern). Die Verbindung bleibt stabil, und ich kann problemlos zwischen den Geräten hin- und herschalten, ohne ein einziges Mal das HDMI-Kabel zu berühren. Ich bin quasi der HDMI-Guru meines eigenen Heims. Also, wenn du ein bisschen Kabelzauberei und ein Upgrade für dein Unterhaltungssystem suchst, dann ist dieser Splitter die Lösung. Ein echtes Meisterwerk – und das alles in nur 3,9 Fuß! 😎🎉

Easy to use. I stream my PS4 using my PC and works great. I stream at 720p 60FPS and works great.
