Bona® 36oz Low-Gloss Hardwood Floor Polish

My urethane finished floors were looking very worn in several high traffic areas. I cleaned them thoroughly and applied one coat of the Bona floor polish in most areas; one spot got two coats. I was hoping for modest improvement, but was quite surprised how good the touched up areas look. This is easy to use and gets great results. I would avoid walking on it with shoes for > 24 hours. It was fine with stocking feet after about 2 hours.

I was a serious skeptic when my wife asked me to buy the Bona polish to do our floors. We were moving and it as critical to get our old hardwood floors looking new again. With 2 kids and 2 dogs over the years, the floor had taken a beating. Following the directions, which were easy and clear, we polished the floors with the Bona and I was blown away. It looked incredible and one of the reasons we sold our house in 48 hours. Don't wait to buy this product. It rocks!

Wish it had a touch more shine to it. Seemed to use a lot to cover floor

This stuff is magical! It completely revives your hardwood floors. I’ve been using it for 5 years now. The low gloss is my favorite because it doesn’t get a funny look after a couple of weeks like the high gloss does. I have 1800 feet of Cherry wood flooring on my main level of my home.

Dries quickly. No yellow look to it

I used this polish on one room on my five-year-old wood floors that I wanted to keep not looking glossy, but they were starting to look dry. I had beautiful results—the floors looked moisturized and refreshed. So I decided to do my entryway hall. Same bottle of polish, and both times I followed the directions: clean with deep cleaner, let it dry, rock the bottle of polish, apply in S pattern, spread with Bona polish pad, allow to dry for 24 hrs before second coat. The first coat in the hall looked great, consistent with the previous room. But the second coat was using the last quarter of the bottle, and I noticed the polish was coming out more white. Didn’t think much of it, finished the job, and now I have horribly streaky, hazy, flat, bad polish on my floor. It didn’t blend like before, and it’s awful looking. I also got three migraines in the two days I was using the product; when I looked up the polish ingredients on the Bona website, I saw numerous reviews stating this bad result. I literally read the reviews while the polish was still wet on my floor, then looked up to see the bad reviews come to life. I’ve used Bona products for almost 20 years and never had this kind of result. I’ll never trust this polish again, and I’ll be wary of buying any liquid Bona products on Amazon again. I’ve lost hours of work and will now have to spend more time and money fixing this. Horrible.

The product is great and arrived when it said it would. The only problem is, one of the two bottles was crushed and half the liquid was spilled out in its plastic wrapping and the parcel bag it was in! It was starting to leak out of that when I found it on my door step.
