So I had to get over putting a magnet on the back of my case, didn't want to at first. However, it stays on great and since attached to the case there are no issues when I remove from the case. The neck is strong and stays in position even with the phone weight. I'm so happy with it now and since the magnet is already installed, I bought a second one and will purchase a third shortly.

It works great in my truck. It charges at a good rate. In my truck in about 15 minutes it will do around 10 percent charge.

I am using this device with a 2015 BMW 2 series BMW. The mount works well enough. The magent is powerful enough to hold my iPhone 13 to the mount plate. The gooseneck can be bent through a wide range of positions and keeps its bent shape well. However, there are a handful of issues. I'm giving the unit 4 stars only since I can't give it 3.5. - The electrical connection with the cigarette lighter barrel is iffy. If pushed down hard and wiggled a bit the charger works fine, but a tiny movement will make it stop - The magnet is mostly strong enough, but mostly is the key word. A big bump will make the phone fall off, as well brushing it with your hand - The adhesive on the metal plate that the magent in the mount attaches to would not stick to my phone case, though when I placed the plate between the phone and the case, so it held in place by pressure of the phone against the case, it worked fine.

The magnet needs to be stronger to keep your phone from rotating. I don't know anyone without a case on their phone and the magnet is barely able to hold the phone on through a thin plastic cover. The heavy phone is out on the end of a gooseneck arm that wants to rotate the entire device in the 12v outlet. Your 12v outlet needs to be strong and stiff AND deep. The outlet in the Porsche is shallow and not meant to support this kind of weight. The result is the cantilevered arm in not strongly mounted in the dash and the whole thing moves, easily drooping around to the side. additionally there are rubber ribs to help the fit in the 12v outlet hole, but they are soft rubber instead of hard rubber so they do not aid stability. This device could be much better with small changes but as it is I can't see it working. PS I tried it in a Toyota and it goes all the way into the 12v socket but the resulting stability is not much better. I conclude this cannot work in any car. A rigid mount is required for a phone mount to work, This fails completely.

I was able to stick my phone to the holder just with the metal ring I already have on the back of my phone. It has fallen off the holder once when I touched it too strong. Otherwise the phone hasn’t fallen off even with some aggressive driving. I have had several different phone holders. The ones with the spring activated clamp to hold your phone will eventually break. I have broken two of them. Hopefully this one will last.

The product is not bad it works directly, but if you’re phone is heavy, probably you’re gonna have problems with your outlet take care about that

Magnet strength is awful. Will not hold up IPhone 16 pro max. Falls off from the slightest bump or swerve.

I've had this product for more than a month now. I was looking for a good phone holder. The dashboard or windshield holders, in my case, were not applicable because I live in a rather hot country (United Arab Emirates). I was afraid they might not stick well and fall from the dash or the windshield, because of the heat. So, I selected this magnetic holder with a 12V socket. I was so happy to make the right choice! This product has two main features: 1) Magnet to hold the phone, and 2) USB port for charging (thru the cigarette lighter socket). I can confidently say that both those two features are very, very reliable. I attached the supplied metal plate at the inside of my phone back cover, so that I wouldn't distort the looks of my phone (LG V10). The magnet power is awesome! You just place the phone very near to the holder and it will immediately be attached. The other main feature that I discovered was the fast charging. This socket is a fast charging outlet. I'm used to plugging my phone to a car charger whenever I step into the car. This gadget does not only charge my phone, but also charges it very fast! The manufacturers should have mentioned this MAIN feature in the product description (maybe they have, but I missed it). To wrap it up, I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a convenient car phone holder, plus a fast charging capability.
