Columbia Women's Pilsner Peak Pants

I wasn't sure about sizing based on the size chart and reviews so I ordered two sizes, 8 and 10. I'm 140lbs, have larger hips, butt and thighs and smaller waist. I wear an 8 in AE jeans. Like some reviews said, these are more fitted in the legs and loose in the waist. I tried the 8 on and they are very loose in the waist to the point where I would definitely have to wear a belt and fairly fitted in the thighs leading me to believe sizing down wouldn't work. I didn't even try the 10 on. If you have a slimmer figure/thighs then I would order your normal size for a comfy fit or size down for something more fitted. For those with figures like mine, you'll likely need a belt. I returned both. They look pretty nice otherwise. The material seems decent, pretty thin which was expected.

I can see why others had issues with the sizing! They are rather fitted through the thigh and butt... But the waist is big, even for my mommy gut! Still, the quality is good, the fabric is light and a little stretchy, and the price is great! I'm 5'10", 158 lbs and I could've gone with the 8... but kept the 10 for a little more room. I'll just wear a belt from now on, which I usually do anyway!

I like the feel and weight of the fabric, and the construction seems as durable as my other Columbia pants, which seem to be really great. However, the fit of this style is so 'off' that I will not wear them. The waist is too big, sits too low, and the thighs are SKINNY. ???? I have several pair of Columbia pants (by the way, I am a 6-8 and always need an 8 in Columbia pants) and these are the worst-fitting pants I have tried to use so far. I absolutely LOVE all my other Columbia pants. Maybe QC just missed this pair. I don't know. This style might just be cut this way intentionally. I don't have big thighs, so if you do, I must recommend that you skip this particular pant.

update: I love these pants!! Took them to CA for a 3 week trip. They were cool enough to wear even in 95 degree weather. They wash well and dry quickly. Love the material.After reading the reviews I was afraid these might not fit. I must be made just right because they are a great fit and very comfortable! I like how light weight they are. Nice feel when walking. No problems with them being too hot. Enough room for a base later if needed. Great price!

I love the look of these pants. The legs fit perfectly and I love the short length! The waist is a lot bigger than needed for its size. I have to cinch them with an elastic belt to keep them up. This is the opposite of other Columbia pants I own.

It fits perfect, very comfortable, breathable and low wrinkles. Thse are great all around pants for just about anything.

I bought these primarily for Spring and Autumn golfing. They are wonderful pants. The length is perfect for my height ~ just under 5'2". A little snug but that is probably due to COVID weight :-)Highly recommend!

These pants are true to size. Bought them for a hiking trip and were ver comfortable.

I like the material. It’s lightweight and it can roll up and there’s a button inside that enables it to be converted to 3/4 pants. I’m 5’6, 135lbs. I bought a size 8 short. The length was just perfect. But I found it snug around the thighs. I made it just barely as I’m bottom heavy, pear shaped. This cutting won’t be suitable for those with chunky thighs.

El pantalon tiene un diseño y tela ideal, pero al poco de usarlo le han salido bolitas en la zona de los muslos , además de un color extraño... para ser del precio y calidad que es, es inaceptable.

En cuanto sea posible, quiero comprar en otro color, son muy cómodos. Estos si vienen un poquitín más grandes. Los pedí 10 y debí irme por un 8. Pero no se ven mal.

Tela ligera, fresca, de secado rápido. Cómoda para caminar. A mi esposa le gustó, fué su obsequio. El envío y la entrega muy bien.

I love these slacks. They fit true to size and have a bit of stretch so they stay comfortable as you move and bend.
