Recharges well, but the only info you get is from the blinking light. It's not not great if needing it asap, but overnight is just fine.

Does not charge batteries completely
So I bought this Black & Decker replacement charger as my old one's plastic enclosure started cracking and falling apart. The batteries I had charged great on it, lasting 30+ minutes per charge. However after getting this replacement charger, the batteries - even when the green LED indicator said it was fully charged - would last 5 minutes or less. Complete garbage IMO and immediately returned it. Maybe I got a defective one - don't know. Buyer beware!
