The Breakdown: Filtration Performance: The difference in taste is night and day. It effectively removes that chemical chlorine aftertaste and is tested against NSF/ANSI 42 (for taste/odor) and NSF/ANSI 53 (specifically for lead and PFAS). Unlike many basic filters, this one actually targets "forever chemicals" (PFOA/PFOS), which was the main selling point for me. +1 The "11K Gallon" Capacity: This is the workhorse of under-sink filters. Most filters at this price point give you maybe 2,000 gallons.
