Designed by Xcoser. Kylo Ren was the name assumed by a Force-sensitive human male who was a member of the Knights of Ren, and an ally of the First Order, approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. The individual who came to be known as Kylo Ren was born some time after the Battle of Endor. As an adult, approximately thirty years later, he had become a follower of the dark side of the Force and a member of the Knights of Ren, taking on Ren as a surname. He built his own lightsaber, a dangerous and ragged design unlike that of a typical lightsaber. "Together, we will destroy the Resistance and the last Jedi."---Kylo Ren Review: This costume is amazing for the price - This costume is amazing for the price. Yes, there are more movie accurate offerings out there from companies like Anovos, but you will also pay $2000+ for their costume. I was really surprised when I picked up the desertcart box off the front porch. It was heavy! Don't worry, I didn't hurt myself. The packaging was very well done with individual costume pieces neatly folded and packed in separate plastic bags. This is NOT a cheap Halloween costume made of thin material. This is really well built heavy fabric. It definitely has a durable quality feel. With heavy, thick fabric comes heat. Don't expect to wear this in a 4th of July parade or an outdoor convention in anything more than 70 degree weather. You will cook! That being said, I would rather have the warmth of a quality costume than something that is cheap and flimsy. I was a little worried about the fit, but with the free returns, I decided to take a chance. I am 5'9" 190lbs and I ordered a large. The fit is a little snug, but I am also a little overweight. There was some slight restriction in the shoulders when crossing my arms in front of my chest, but otherwise it was very comfortable. The restriction isn't anything major, especially since I don't expect to be doing any yoga poses in this. The snug fit is actually pretty nice and helps slim out some of the dad-bod that I have. I am going to do my part and lose some poundage versus going a size up or having alterations done. The true test was to present myself to my two sons (ages 5 and 7) as Kylo Ren for their critique. My 7 year old's exact words were, "I thought you were the real Kylo Ren, but then I thought mom wouldn't spend $1000 for him to come to our house." I paired the costume with the Black Series helmet and a lycra balaclava to help hide my skin. The costume doesn't come with pants, but I used some black 5.11 cargo pants and black combat boots to finish it out. I think it looked great! I did discover an issue with my setup not related to the costume, but rather the mask and balaclava. The lenses on the helmet fogged up bad. I am going to have to mod a fan or the lens so I can at least see (and breathe). Bottom line, this costume is a definite winner. I am new to this whole cosplay costuming thing. As a 38 year old man, I was even a little embarrassed to admit it. However, after putting this thing on and seeing the looks on my kid's faces, I am proud to be a Kylo Ren dad. Review: High quality costume that feels higher value than I paid - I got this costume to create my own spin on a Star Wars costume. I was blown away by the quality and fit. Costumes I have ordered in the past have felt cheap and designed to last on season of use. This will last many uses beyond the event I wore this to. It received many complements from others in how authentic it looked. I wore it at an outdoor event in Florida and didn't overheat easily. I was concerned since it contains several layers and each layer is thicker material than I had anticipated. I found the fit to be true to size and didn't need to make any modifications for myself. If you are looking for a Kylo Ren or making your own thing as this as a basis, then you won't be disappointed. ## Features - Suede - Zipper closure - Hand Wash or Dry Clean Only ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B019C2W17Q | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | No Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Medium Weight | | Best Sellers Rank | #326,336 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #6,351 in Men's Costumes | | Brand Name | XCOSTUME® | | Care instructions | Hand Wash or Dry Clean Only | | Closure Type | Zipper | | Color | Full Suit | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 32 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Suede | | Fabric type | Suede | | Fit Type | Regular | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Positive | | Garment Size Country | United States | | Holiday Type | Halloween | | Included Components | Belt, Gloves | | Manufacturer | XCOSTUME® | | Material | Faux Suede, Linen, Metal, Plastic | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Cosplay Party | | Part Number | 3010-2039-AL-ST | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash or Dry Clean Only | | Size | Large | | Sleeve Length Description | Long Sleeve | | Special Features | Wrinkle Resistant | | Style Name | Minimalist Dark | | Style Number | 3010-2039-AL-ST | | Target Audience | Adults, Teenagers, Boys | | Theme | Battle | | character | Kylo Ren | ## Images ![XCOSTUME Mens Deluxe Kylo Ren Costume Full Suit New Version V3 with Belt & Gloves 2016 (L) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aEukorJpL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This costume is amazing for the price *by M***E on March 27, 2016* This costume is amazing for the price.
