XCOSTUME Mens Deluxe Kylo Ren Costume Full Suit New Version V3 with Belt & Gloves 2016 (L)

This costume is amazing for the price. Yes, there are more movie accurate offerings out there from companies like Anovos, but you will also pay $2000+ for their costume. I was really surprised when I picked up the Amazon box off the front porch. It was heavy! Don't worry, I didn't hurt myself. The packaging was very well done with individual costume pieces neatly folded and packed in separate plastic bags. This is NOT a cheap Halloween costume made of thin material. This is really well built heavy fabric. It definitely has a durable quality feel. With heavy, thick fabric comes heat. Don't expect to wear this in a 4th of July parade or an outdoor convention in anything more than 70 degree weather. You will cook! That being said, I would rather have the warmth of a quality costume than something that is cheap and flimsy. I was a little worried about the fit, but with the free returns, I decided to take a chance. I am 5'9" 190lbs and I ordered a large. The fit is a little snug, but I am also a little overweight. There was some slight restriction in the shoulders when crossing my arms in front of my chest, but otherwise it was very comfortable. The restriction isn't anything major, especially since I don't expect to be doing any yoga poses in this. The snug fit is actually pretty nice and helps slim out some of the dad-bod that I have. I am going to do my part and lose some poundage versus going a size up or having alterations done. The true test was to present myself to my two sons (ages 5 and 7) as Kylo Ren for their critique. My 7 year old's exact words were, "I thought you were the real Kylo Ren, but then I thought mom wouldn't spend $1000 for him to come to our house." I paired the costume with the Black Series helmet and a lycra balaclava to help hide my skin. The costume doesn't come with pants, but I used some black 5.11 cargo pants and black combat boots to finish it out. I think it looked great! I did discover an issue with my setup not related to the costume, but rather the mask and balaclava. The lenses on the helmet fogged up bad. I am going to have to mod a fan or the lens so I can at least see (and breathe). Bottom line, this costume is a definite winner. I am new to this whole cosplay costuming thing. As a 38 year old man, I was even a little embarrassed to admit it. However, after putting this thing on and seeing the looks on my kid's faces, I am proud to be a Kylo Ren dad.

I got this costume to create my own spin on a Star Wars costume. I was blown away by the quality and fit. Costumes I have ordered in the past have felt cheap and designed to last on season of use. This will last many uses beyond the event I wore this to. It received many complements from others in how authentic it looked. I wore it at an outdoor event in Florida and didn't overheat easily. I was concerned since it contains several layers and each layer is thicker material than I had anticipated. I found the fit to be true to size and didn't need to make any modifications for myself. If you are looking for a Kylo Ren or making your own thing as this as a basis, then you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic high quality product that blew my family away. Thick material; metal belt; extra material provided; strong seams; very warm. First off, I took a chance buying myself a costume as a gift for my wife for Mother’s Day. She is a huge Kylo Ren fan and has expressed she wants to do Kylo and Rey for Halloween. After researching, i found This one to have the best reviews. I am 5’8 and 175 pounds, and the constume fits perfectly. The sleeves are slightly long but it works for the costume. I bought some slim black pants, a cosplay level helmet (Star Wars The Force Awakens Kylo Ren Voice Changing Mask Exclusive Roleplay Toy), and a non-collapsible lightsaber (Star Wars Bladebuilders Kylo Ren Deluxe Electronic Lightsaber). When I entered the room, my wife cried with excitement. My six year old couldn’t stop jumping on me long enough for a picture, and my nine year old was totally speechless. I can’t wait to see reactions at the Halloween party in October.

The quality of this costume is totally worth the price. I was surprised at the detail of each piece and appreciated how it’s not cheap material. The only thing I disliked was how the kit didn’t come with pants to complete the suit. Everyone has commented when I go out in public, that it looks exactly like the movie. I’m 6’1” so I ordered the large and it fits perfectly. (Helmet is black series)

Definitely Order your normal size because I ordered a Large thinking it was Asian sizing and it is definitely too big in some spots but easily fixable. I love how high quality this cosplay is it's worth every penny! 😍 also absolutely amazing shipping time considering I got it 4 days after I ordered it during the pandemic. Definitely heavy fabrics so it gets very warm in it that's why comfort is only 4 stars but I'll just be wearing the cosplay for winter cons.

I'm not sure if this costume is "501st approved" but it probably should be. It is extremely well made from thick, warm heavy material, and seems to be very close, if not a spot on replica of Kylos clothing in The Force Awakens. For the price, I don't think you will find a more accurate costume. I only had to add the helmet, pants and boots. Honestly, any dark colored pants will work. I have an Anovos Premier Kylo Ren helmet, so it's movie accurate and completes the costume very nicely.

Love the costume! This is not a cheap quality costume. The material is very good quality. I put 4 stars because it's too small for me. I am 5'11" and 190 lbs, BMI 24.3 and here's why the Large does not fit me 1) The gloves are too small (I have big hands) 2) The outer tunic fits barely 3) The inner Tunic is too small, couldn’t fit my arms in the sleeves. I am no body builder and I have normal arms. I know this should be tight but if you can't move your arms, that's too tight I will have to buy the X-Large one
