I wish I had bought these sooner!
Since the early days of my career in radio, I've always used Sony MDR-7506s. It's the industry standard for good reason. I put these to use daily, and they suffered a bit of abuse on occasion, but they always performed extremely well. When the earpads on my first pair of cans started to crumble away, I was sad to have to retire them after 12 years of service. (This was back in 2003 and getting new earpads wasn't as simple as ordering from an online shop.) I ended up buying a new pair of 7506 headphones. Since then, I retired from radio and started my own full-time voice over business. Doing VO doesn't cause as much wear and tear on my headphones, so the earpads on the new set have held up for about 19 years. However, when they started to flake and leave little bits of black all over the place, I decided to see if I could find a fix. There were a lot of brands out there so the reviews really drove my decision to purchase these. I also loved the color options. Torn between a classic look or something more unique, I opted for the blue pads to compliment the label on the side of my headphones. I had never replaced earpads before and had heard different reviews on the difficulty and effort involved. I was expecting the worst, but after watching a YouTube video, I was surprised at how simple it was. After removing the old earpads, I put a new earpad over the entire cup of the headphones and then gently used a butter knife to guide and tuck the outer elastic edge back into the groove - little by little. Once I got the hang of it, the job went pretty fast. I had both of them on in under 10 minutes and they fit perfectly. I've had these for several weeks now and I can say they've held up well so far. I love the color! It really makes them pop and look distinctive. Even more, I'm amazed at how comfortable these are! They are easily better than the original Sony earpads. They seem to cup the ear better and, as a result, I've noticed a big difference in sound quality. Also, though they're not meant to be noise canceling, they do a great job of blocking out external sound. I'm really happy with these earpads and am so excited to be able to continue using my 7506s! I'm going to try to find my original 7506s and buy a pair of these earpads in red so I can bring those headphones back to life, too!

Revived my old MDR-7506 from the dead!
I had 2 pair of MDR-7506 headphones... One pair is 25+ years old and the other is 15+ years old. I stopped using the older pair cause the earpads had deteriorated beyond use and sourcing replacement earpads was not possible then. I purchased a second pair of MDR-7506 to replace the old ones... Now they have started to flake off black bits of material. I figured time for another pair until I searched here on Amazon... Sweet!! I purchased 2 sets of replacements earpads.. a black set and a turquoise set... The fit and craftsmanship are excellent, Well worth the $19 spent. Now I have a pair of MDR-7506's ready to give more years of use! I wouldn't call them noise cancelling as the headphones themselves are not. I'd say these aftermarket earpads let as much sound in as the OEM earpads. Definitely more comfortable, Cooler ear temps as well.

Great quality
Great quality ear pads, nice color and the feel is like soft leather. Elevates the aesthetic and feels rich. Easy to install.

Better Comfort and Style than Originals
Sony MDR-7506s have been my goto headphones for studio recording and broadcasting for decades. While the value of the sound quality (fairly flat response for around $100) is exceptional, the earpads have always been lackluster --especially when the pleather starts to peel off. These Brainwavs earpads are more comfortable and way more stylish than the Sony pads. They feel cooler, and I notice no degradation of sound quality delivered from the speakers. A great way to extend the life of some otherwise great cans.

New life for my Sony MDR-7506
These look and feel great. I don't find they really cancel any noise, at least not more than the provided pads. Mine had started to peel and were leaving black residue all over my ears and neck when I was using them. 5 minutes and I had swapped out for the new ones. I was working I might tear them trying to get them on. It was a little clunky, but once they're on you're never taking them off, so it's not a major downside. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to give their headphones a comfort refresher.

Meh
Very comfortable and fits well than the original MDR 7506 Earpads though it changes the sound drastically and makes more treble high and less bass

Great sound, great feel, great - but not a great install experience.
Quick review - have had these on for months and they sound and look GREAT. Improved sound? Maybe a slight more bass response (maybe) but I've not truly A/B'd them - I can just say they sound magnificent like all Sony V6's which is what these were used for. The only reason I'm about to say the following is this - about 5 months ago I replaced another pair of headphone (V6) with a different brand of ear pad (honestly don't remember which one, but it was one of the more popular ones.). I can't comment on quality since it was done for a friend, but the install took about 5 minutes or so and worked perfectly. The install on this - not so much. I'll explain. On the other install with the other product, the extra material went smoothly into cups as designed by Sony. On these, there is SO much extra material that at first I thought I was dealing with a defective product. Then I started to just shove the material into the space and eventually it seated (someone on here said to use a Credit Card - wish I had seen that.). So once it's in, it's sort of seated and you never really think about it again - but I don't like all that extra material and it doesn't seem seamless - I can imagine some people would just pull the pads all the way over the headphones but I'm sure that's wrong. (I've never seen it like that in any picture.) So bottom line, pads, quality of comfort, sound - 4/5 stars all around. Feels better than the original w. the memory foam - possibly warmer on the ears but now I'm getting into the weeds. If you got these headphones and the pads were on, you would never question it and you would love it - and I can see loving it more than the original pads. But the install and the extra material is just something they should really address going forward and I'm very surprised I have not heard more about it UNLESS - this was a quality control issue and mine were just a cut too much - but I have read a few here that mention it so I don't know. I will tell you with all the extra material it did eventually get to where it needed to go and I've been loving them ever since.

Great replacement earpads for Sony mdr-7506 headphones.
They're great quality replacement earpads for my Sony mdr-7506 headphones. The turquoise blue suits it really well too. Totally worth buying Cons - They're a pain to put them on and you gotta do it carefully so you don't tear the new earpads. Tip- Use a credit art to pull up and tuck the cloth into the earpad slot. They're smaller than the originals. Could've been bigger. Irrespective. These are awesome.Buy these if you need new earpads for your sony mdr-7506 or V6s.

Replace your Sony MDR-7506 pads RIGHT NOW
I can't recommend these enough. The difference between these and the default ones for my headphones (MDR-7506) is night and day. I bought my pair second hand, so the pads were already tearing, but I finally decided to was time to replace them. When I saw the 30 dollar price tag I almost passed up on these, but the Teal colour was what sold me. I never expected them to be this comfortable or this easy to install. If you have the extra cash to get these they will 100% be a noticeable difference in comfort and quality. Since the synthetic leather on these are pretty durable and stretch a good amount it was easier for me to install these than the videos on YouTube had me expecting. If you wear your headphones a lot this purchase is honestly a no-brainer. I probably sound like a bot with how much I'm praising these, but they legit made my weekend. *PS* The teal is so vibrant and beautiful that I cant imagine buying the other colours for the same price.

Perfette
Con non poca fatica li ho sostituiti ai miei vecchi padiglioni che ormai erano soltanto spugna e qualche resto di pelle e devo dire che sono confortevoli, morbidi, e non alterano il suono della cuffia.
