We used this for the first time to paint our Marvel United miniatures and the brushes worked really well. They are held the paint and worked well for fine details. The brushed did not fray and held their point through multiple hours of painting. This was out first time ever painting miniatures and we were surprised how easy it was with these brushes. As an FYI to buyers looking to paint minis, the brush sizes are larger than similar miniature paint brushes. For example, the 0000 liner included is about the equivalent of a #1 Vallejo detail brush.

I purchased these to do model painting and when they arrived the first thing I noticed is how nice the set it. Good grips and the case is very high quality and great for keeping everything organized and the bristles from getting bent in a box. After using them, I can say the paint went on very smoothly and the size of the bristles is perfect for even the smallest of details.

I am new to painting, but realized real fast that the cheap brushes that I got at my local store was not going to do the job that I wanted them to do. I found these brushes and decided to give them a try. GLAD I DID!!!! The small brushes are exactly what I needed to do the detail on some of the paintings that I wanted to do but couldn't. My paintings are for arts and crafts and gifts to family and friends. I can be a perfectionist even though I'm not a pro. These brushes make my paintings look like I know what I'm doing a little.

If you want to step up from cheap craft/big box store brushes but don't want to go all in for sable ect, this may be the brush set for you. Great selection of sizes that feel good in hand and they come in a handy carrying case/caddy.Each brush was end cap covered in the case. My only issue was that one of the liner brushes had on bristle kinked probably when it was capped otherwise they all looked great.

A wonderful product. I am doing a diy project with them that my daughter gave me for Fathers day. Hold the paint and clean up is a snap. Something that I need as a 75 year old DIYer. Had a coupon for free paint set but I had thrown the order no. away before I found it. Look for this card before you get rid of the paper work. ooked like a nice set of Acrylic Paints.

I have a bit of a tremor in my hands, and the grips on these brushes make it much easier for me to paint with. The brushes take paint well, and are perfect for miniature painting and detail work on the tabletop terrain I craft. For the price, they are hard to pass up. I would highly recommend to beginner and expert painters alike.

I love these brushes! theere are brushes for inch-wide swaths of paint on down to hair-thin detailing! the brushes are ergonomicall designed so there is no undue pressure where i don't want it. This is really important to me as I have Psoriatic arthritis. The case is very well-made and converts to sit up for easier access to the brushes as in the ad photo. Get them - they are a great value price for the quality of this product!
