This is not for a toyota. The end is not compatible with Toyota. Toyota's base is powered, this is not. Toyota's has a short cable with a standard female end with a power cable attachment, This does not. An antenna of this length, unpowered, is useless, and has very poor reception. It fits in the hole. That's all it does. The advertising noting compatibility with Toyota Corollas is FALSE and UNTRUE. IT may fit a volkswagon and other German cars, but it DOES NOT FIT TOYOTA. IF you buy this antenna thinking that it's gonna fit in a toyota, you are mistaken. If you''re not going to cut and splice, you need to buy an adapter. The adapter costs over $20 and needs to be bought in Germany. That's $6 lost to me forever, I could have bought lunch with that money, instead I'm eating this deal. Not even worth returning. I guess I'll play CD's.

This will NOT work for a 03-08 Toyota Corolla! Despite what it says in description, it will Not work. Do Not waste your time or money. I will be returning this!

toyota has a built in wiring harness which this unit is not compatible. go to ebay and buy a recycled toyota part

Contrary to the product description, this does NOT work with the 2003-2008 Z4.The correct antenna base is actually smaller than this one, and does not have this type of coaxial cable. If you need to replace the antenna base on your E85/E86, go with OEM part number 65206913897 instead.

This base cracked and the antenna fell off the first time the flexible antenna was bent slightly. The base is poorly designed and weak near the threaded portion that holds the antenna. The OEM part would have never cracked in this way and is strong in the area neat the thread allowing the antenna to be bent over and over without the base cracking.

Fits 2004 Jetta

This item DOES NOT fit a 2003 Jetta. It appears to be designed backwards. It doesn't seal to the roof, the bolt base shape is circular, not square like the OEM, meaning it won't lock into the roof opening. I attached it to test, it didn't receive AM.TOTAL GARBAGE, DO NOT BUY!I hope Amazon fully reimburses including shipping charges.

Amazingly inexpensive as I know it would have cost a lot more through a dealership. Was easy to replace, though it didn't sit all the way down like the old one hopefully it won't leak. Biggest negative is that It took almost a month to get here. I get that it came all the way from China, but when you are used to Amazons normally super fast shipping it was a little surprising.
