Q: A previous question was asked, "what is the outside diameter" and the response was, 1 inch. Why does the discription say, 1.5 inch

Using a precision caliper, the measurement of the one I have is 1.251 inches outside diameter. I took the reading twice.

Q: How do you securely stack 2 of these together? Is it secure enough to just put them together or do they need some kind of bracket?

I had to use a sledge hammer to stack 2 of these. These are not coming apart or twisting by no stretch of the means. A wood block on the bottom worked well when putting the two together

Q: How many can you link without guy wires?

I would recommend no more than 2. And only if the bottom one is very secure. Then guy wires at 120° every other section.

Q: Will this work with a TP-LINK TL-ANT2424B 2.4GHz 24dBi Directional Grid antenna?

The Channel Master is a 1 1/4" mast which is 31.75 mm. According to the specs on the TL-ANT2424B, the antenna needs a 30 to 50mm mounting mast. So, the mast should work with your antenna.
