I love these gloves. They appear to be well-made and heavy-duty. I will say when I took them from the box, they appeared huge, and I was concerned about the size -- but they fit comfortably and work really well. I would consider my hands to be a size medium. They have lots of silicone on them which is what protects you from the heat, and they are thickly padded inside. They are a good choice.

I wouldn't pick up something that is 1472 degrees. But, overall for cooking and grilling they are perfect. Just watch hot liquids splashing on the gloves while wearing them. They are knitted and hot liquid can pass through and burn you. Found out the hard way. But, I love these for general cooking and grilling. A little tight fitting, for ME an way. But no more or less than latex gloves.

These are a little big on, but they work! Can easily grill without the heat from the grill burning my hands and wrists. I was trying to use an oven mitt before I got these, which was fine if I was using a spatula, but I couldn’t use tongs! I can use tongs with these no problem. So glad I found these by accident when looking for grilling accessories. Totally worth the purchase.

I use them for handling hot jars when canning and taking things out of the oven. The gripping surfaces are amazing, even on wet jars. For safety sake, I should mention these are a knitted gloves and not water proof. Don't reach into a boiling pot with them.They really are great in the kitchen. I plan on using them for grilling and with my smoker."One size fits most." Not too sure about that. I wear a large neoprene glove and these burn proof gloves fit me perfectly. There's some stretch and will certainly fit an XL or 2XL glove size. But they are way too big to fit my wife's small hands. I don't think she could use them safely and effectively. I ordered the long version, maybe the short version are sized differently?They are thick and and hard to wear for very long on a hot summer day. They would likely keep your hands toasty warm in the winter outdoors. Luckily they are easy to get on and off quickly, which still makes them very convenient. Anytime I'm dealing with hot surfaces or extreme radiant heat, I have the perfect solution.Overall I say they are a great value. I'm sorry I didn't get a pair years ago. I'll never fumble with hot pads and oven mitts again.A must have for canning, baking and grilling.

These gloves are my absolute favorite. This is my second time buying them. They are super comfortable and fit perfectly. These are heat protectant as I use on my blackstone and smoker and don’t feel the heat of anything. Quality is worth every penny as they have lasted me two years before getting a new pair. Easy to throw in wash and they come clean. Color is vibrant and not dull.

They work great and helps not only to prevent burning of your hands, but also provide very good grip

My son in law has taken up grilling and smoking meat! He needed some gloves that actually worked to keep his hands safe. After two pairs from other places I scored a great pair that he loves!!!

Work as expected with adequate grip and heat resistance, the material seems to insulate well and be waterproof. THEY RUN TERRIBLY SMALL! Sizing is a huge knock on the gloves.

Gloves got burning hot within seconds and had to plunge my hands into cold water.

Love These Mitts! Just the right size, keeps my hands and wrists from getting burned. Perfect! and the come as a pair, vs one like other companies.

Not sure how they came up with something as precise as 1473 F, but be that as it may, bottom line is that these gloves *do* seem to be quite heat resistant when dealing with very hot BBQ pans, grills etc. Fit well for me. Am reasonably happy with them. Little loop at the wrist so that they could be hanged up easily would have been icing on the cake!

These gloves are great for cleaning and re-seasoning the griddle. Still have enough finger dexterity and feel very little heat through them.
