Bill Covington had a less than flattering view of most women. He enjoyed their company for a few weeks, and believing they were all after his money, he would move on to greener pastures. That was until he met Lauren.Lauren worked in the marketing and PR department of his company and was hoping not to be there long, since her immediate boss was a toxic person. Lauren found Bill attractive, but thought he was a terrible womanizer.The truth was a different story as it seemed that there was always someone out to get Bill and make him look bad. Fortunately there was an attractive woman that Bill respected in his marketing department to improve his image along with that of the company.Whoever is out to get Bill isn’t going to give up that easy though, and any chance he may have at a real relationship is on the line.This was a pretty good story and I enjoyed it very much. Lots of twists in the plot.

The storyline is funny, sweet and a little steamy. He is an alpha male who doesn’t trust anyone due to his wealth. Before the heroine is really introduced, he seems to be an one time and done guy. I will say I laughed at the scene where he threw to girls cell phone in his fish tank.She is a girl who doubts herself as she is worn down by a horrible boss and her brother’s rehab bills. They finally met and twice he portrays himself as a jerk and she jumps to conclusions and hates the guy.Then she gets a backbone and is the only person who calls him out for his crap and there starts the love story.The storyline was fun and the book is easy to read.Once you start the series you have to keep reading. I only wish the next book had an audible as well since I like to buy both so you can read quicker and always be reading or listening to a great story.

When thrown into a leadership role, it takes a strong person to guide the organization forward. The problem is that it brings out the insecurities of one partner. Surprisingly, love makes one ready to give up the leadership role forever.

Lauren was very much against rich people. It was borderline childish. Bill was playboy with ridculous amounts of trouble with women trying to make sex tapes of him to blackmail him. The plot had holes from the set up, Her boss was a caricature, and his sound business playing was far-fetched. It was readable, but not quite enjoyable. I don't mind having to suspend believe for a book, but I like it be pure fantasy or only one aspect of it. This one felt like it threw everything against the wall hoping something would stick, and I found that a bit of a let down.

This is my first time reading a book by this Author. I absolutely loved this book. It was entertaining and had me up all night reading the book straight through. It was about Lauren, Bill and the Covington family business. It was about relationships i.e Lauren and her comedy minded and fiercely loyal roommate Sandy, Lauren and her distrustful romantic relationship with Bill (by the way the distrust was unfounded) and Bill's relationship with his family, friends and the family business. So many twists and turns in this book that will keep you mind trying to figure out what could happen next. This book will not disappoint. And the romantic relationship was sweet, sexy and well fought for. I highly recommend this book. It was worth every penny. I look forward to reading more from this Author Erin Swann.

I got this one from Kindle Unlimited and I was surprised that it was so good. Both characters were endearing.

This was a good book. Bill and Lauren meet in an unusual way. He is incapacitated in his apartment entertaining a woman. Lauren comes to his penthouse to inform him that his father was hospitalized. Bill strips off his robe and dresses in front of Lauren. Great characters, great story, be for warned it is a page turner.

Excellent read. I must say I was worried at the start but soon got caught up in this steamy romance. Yes! It has plenty of steam! But, I really got to identify with the characters by the way this was written. Switching from Bill to Lauren and getting into these wonderful characters. More than just a great romance there is a strong story line as they find out what Love really is. The word tit could have been avoided in most places it is used as it tends to jar me out of the wonderful romantic feel of the steamy scenes but in general language used was appropriate and worked to make this a great one. I can't wait to read the next one in this series!

What a beautiful story Lauren was dealing with so many things including a brother with addiction problems when William (Bill ) Covington came crashing into her life! Compelling reading from the start.

Really enjoyed this story. The change of perception. She had a past that had taught her not to trust. He didn’t think much of love. But together through a few hurdles they found love and trust. A great read. Though the book and audiobook often didn’t match up.Narration was great.

This was a book filled with passion and love, with some trust issues on the way. Really enjoyed the strength of Lauren in this body book. It also showcased her vulnerable side, making her very likably. Can't wait to read the other family members books
