Best Sketchbook Ever
Really lovely thick sketchbook at an amazing price! The 180gsm paper can withstand a whole variety of mediums, including light washes of watercolours and the hardcover seems to be very good for protection. The label and cover page are also very cute! It's going to take me a while to fill this sketchbook as there are more pages than the typical sketchbook.

Worth the extra money over the budget stuff
Ordered this for our arty daughter who was recommended it. Non-arty dad was dubious whether to spend the extra over the supermarket equivalents. That doubt vanished when it arrived. Unexpectedly high quality in a way the photos don't fully reflect. Solidly constructed, thick lustrous paper, quality ring binding, good covers. Head and shoulders above any supermarket equivalent. Certainly has a special enough feel for becoming the home to our tween daughter's artworks, especially given the low price.

Top quality pages
The media could not be loaded. Pages are nice and thick, probably enough to apply a small amount of acrylic and a small amount of water colour. The opening page is really nice too. Bought this sketchbook for a little hobby over lockdown.

Overall decent, some minor issues.
The paper quality is great and the pad itself is rather sturdy. Some pages had what appeared to be small squished bugs or some odd dark blemishes which ruined a few pages but not a major issue overall.

Please note description is misguiding black is just the cover!
Bought this as a present, together with an art white paper from the same supplier.Unfortunately the description is confusing, I was looking for black paper ( considering also price is aligned to other black paper books) but it's white paper with a black cover.Compared to the white album it looks thicker, maybe this explains the price gap, I'm not sure.
