100% natural
I've been using Better-Gro Long-Fiber Sphagnum Moss for my indoor plants, and I absolutely love it! The moss gives my plants a beautiful, finished look while also helping the soil retain moisture much longer. I've noticed I don't have to water as often, and my plants stay healthier between waterings. The long fibers are clean, easy to work with, and perfect for topping potted plants, propagating cuttings, and lining hanging baskets. It fluffs up nicely and goes a long way, so one package lasts longer than I expected. I especially appreciate that it's 100% natural and versatile enough to use on a variety of plants. If you want to improve the appearance of your houseplants while helping keep the soil evenly moist, this is an excellent product. I'll definitely continue buying it for my indoor plant collection!

Better-Gro Sphagnum Moss: My Go-To for Thriving Plants!
As an avid plant enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for high-quality growing mediums, and Better-Gro Sphagnum Moss has quickly become an absolute staple in my plant care routine. This isn't just any moss; it's truly superior! The quality is evident right out of the bag. It's long-fibered, clean, and free of excessive debris, which makes it a pleasure to work with. I've used it for a variety of purposes, and it consistently delivers outstanding results. For my orchids, it's simply the best. It provides that perfect balance of moisture retention and aeration that orchids crave, preventing root rot while keeping them hydrated. My Phalaenopsis and Cattleya orchids have never looked healthier, with vigorous root growth and beautiful blooms. Beyond orchids, I've found it indispensable for propagating cuttings. Whether I'm rooting a Monstera, Philodendron, or even a succulent, a bed of moist Better-Gro Sphagnum Moss creates the ideal humid environment, leading to quick and strong root development. It's also fantastic for carnivorous plants that require consistently moist, nutrient-poor conditions. What really sets it apart is its incredible moisture retention capacity without becoming waterlogged, coupled with excellent drainage and aeration. This combination is critical for healthy root systems, preventing common issues like compaction and suffocation. If you're serious about your plants and want to give them the best possible start or growing environment, I wholeheartedly recommend Better-Gro Sphagnum Moss. It's a premium product that genuinely makes a difference!

Plant Propagation
I love this stuff. I use it to propagate my plants and they love it. This is also a great price for the amount that you get. It also seems to last and doesnโt become moldy. I would definitely buy it again. I love how much you get and how easily it is to propagate my plants in it.

Great product for bog plants.
I have a little Venus flytrap and the only way to keep them healthy is to plant them in Sphaghum moss.. so far so good. My little plant is doing so well.

It's okay, not best, but okay.
It's a good moss. I have used it extensively and haven't had any mold or weird smells but it does have some twigs in it and it's not long, it's like bits of sphagnum. It's okay for the price, it did the job but if you want really good quality, not just okay, go for something else.

Good product
Itโs amazing, used it for both my moss pole & to mix into reptile soil. Itโs soft, fluffy, holds water well. Accidentally ordered 4 of these & honestly Iโm glad I like the product or Iโd probably be crying right now ๐

Okay quality / Water Retention not that good
The price is quite high for the quality you get. The water retention is not really good and dries out very fast so you need to keep watering the plants every 3/4 days max. It has a lot of twigs and dirt as well.

Disgusting. Don't waste your time.
This moss is gross. It's dirty and stringy, it has sticks and leaves. It gets limp and slimy when wet. The price is ridiculous. I bought it in a pinch because I was desperatelyin need of moss and everywhere good is sold out, will NEVER buy it again. Buy coco husk if you can't find good sphag.
