Players share the barriers and each puts his pawn in the center of his starting line. In turn, each moves his pawn one square, or sets a barrier to slow the opponent. The pawns have to bypass the barriers, which create a maze from which to get out very quickly, because the first one who reaches the line opposite his starting line has won! The wooden material is neat The rules are simple and explained quickly Short and dynamic parts Game principle The first player to reach the opposite side of the board wins. During your turn, 2 options are available to you: move your pawn or put a wall You cannot completely block your opponent. He must always be able to reach his destination. You can jump over an opponent's pawn.

So I did a little research, and saw good reviews about this version, so bought with confidence. These are very well made and just the right size of a portable version. I was very impressed with the build quality. The games is excellent to play, very easy to learn, but there is a lot of skill required to be a great player, as I have since found out. Game time playing this is very quick, and a great family game that doesn't disappoint. This can be played repeatedly for hours with winner stays on, and doesn't loose any of its entertainment value. This is our go to family game for a few quick matches. Thoroughly recommend, and quality is first class.

**Q: Are the pieces in the mini version fiddly? Wanted to purchase for my elderly mother.**
A: Bought as a gift for my grandson.  It's a great strategy game.  The pieces are not too small, just right I'd say.

**Q: What is the size of the board in a travel size comparing to normal one?**
A: This is quite small about a 1/3 of the size of the original. But still very playable easy to slip in a bag or under the seat in the car

This is fine for travel or a quick game out and about but playing around a table with 4 players it’s quite small and easy to knock over pieces. 7 year old manages to play this fine. The quality seems good for a mini version of a game. It’s good fun and causes lots of family debates.
