worked for me on a 2002 70HP Suzuki wires and terminal not same colors as OEM
I got this on a good deal from Amazon warhouse deals - open box - for about $15 - took a chance and it worked. On my 2002 DF70 Suzuki 4-stroke the motor would go up but not down. Did some research and most common coause is bad relay. OEM is $100+, and aftermarket is about $50. The aftermarket ones have a shorter black wire than OEM, and the other wire is a different color than OEM, and the small colored paint marking on end of terminals were different colors. On my engine these two relays are located behind a small plastic cover on the top right side of engine. My service manual showed the "down" relay was the lower of the two. I took photos of both relays, wiring, etc.in case I had to refer back - but by undoing one wire at a time and routing them a little different I got everything hooked up right and it worked.

Substitute for Tahatsu and Nissan
This is same ptt solenoid used in Tahatsu and Nissan. You only have to splice the two wires from your old solenoid to get proper length and connector. Saved over $40 not having to purchase OEM for each solenoid. Only issue is terminal are in different location and to make install work without any modification to two starter wires, had to reverse up and down wires from starter. It is working fine, just not as neet and tidy.

Happy Amazon takes things back
This part is no longer made by Suzuki. First one of these started smoking soon as power was put to it. Amazon sent a quick replacement. Once on the second one clicked a few times then engaged but would not disengage, thankfully I had a battery cut of near me or it would have burned out my trim motor. It did burn out the up solenoid. I'm returning the second one.I ended up buying these used off EBay and the used OEM ones worked flawlessly. So after three Sunday afternoons and $30 gas finally my trim is back up and running. Aftermarket is fine if it works, these do not

Short
The black wire needs to be a half inch longer. I made it work and so far so good
