They charged quickly. They are a little snug in the battery port, but it fits. Will likely buy again, so that way I have more batteries lol.

The XBox 360 batterys would not charge using the pain in the but cable charger. Took out the charger put my old batteries in to charge first one is dead the other two took the charge. The batteries that came with are much better have longer life. With the price, heck yes GameStop wanted over $40 bucks.

Not sure if it’s our controller or the battery itself but these did not fit one of the controllers well and even once we did get it in it did not turn it on. Keeping it because it does work in the other one and works very well.

Updated 2026:- Purchased for the XBox controllers that I use occasionally enough I don't want to leave AA's in them to corrode, and frequently enough that I don't want to go through AA's all the time, this rechargeable battery pack is one I want to love. The batteries fit inside the controller perfectly, and it powers on just fine. With a caveat: In order of nitpick to more serious: 1. It's a weird design. It takes up more space than I feel like it should. 2. The battery life is nowhere near as long as a couple of AA's. I haven't timed it, but I feel like I'm always having to charge these. 3. The charger doesn't always connect properly to the batteries, so it will never fully charge. I resorted to tying a zip tie around it to make sure the connection was good. 4. This is the kicker, and the reason not to buy this. 4800mAh in two AA batteries is technically impossible (unless they're beating the laws of physics). I tested with a multimeter and the voltage when fully charged is weak. But ultimately the proof for me is in the fact that fully charged, placing these into the controller only lit the center LED's slightly and they would sync and then immediately try to resync. Placing regular AA's (or rechargable AA's) worked perfectly. Maybe I got a faulty item, and this is not expected. For the price I'm not going to worry about a return or an exchange even if I discovered the fault within the return window. I have thrown it out and replaced it with reputable 1900mAh double AAs, which work flawlessly in my controller(s)

The charger works rather well but the battery life after being charged is basically useless. Stays charged for maybe 5 minutes.
