So at first I was sceptical, didn't believe that this little magnet will be able to hold anything in place, much less a shotgun, but I said why not, let's give it a shot.Well, this has been hanging in my work station for 3 days, and it hasn't moved a bit. It holds the shotgun in place without any issues.The reason it's on my work bench is because I wanted to put it through somewhat of a test, so I have been building so shelving units for my home, and this table has been shaking quite a bit, and the shotgun stays in place.I have no doubt that this Magnet will be able to handle any handgun when placeananywhere in the house, with or without the vibrations.Highly recommended.

Very strong magnetic, but to be honest I expected it to be a bit bigger by pictures holding 2 hand guns and one holding a shotgun.With my 9mm on it, I can’t see putting another hand gun on with it. But I only plan on only having one gun at a time anyway, I just hope It holds my new gun.I took pictures of it at the end of the barrel just to show a good size estimate.I’ll install it in my SUV tomorrow and see how it goes from there.

:• What a great product! I looked at many different gun magnets online, and this one seemed to be the slimmest and easiest to mount. When I received it I had a few questions about vehicle mounting options and the company got back to me within an hour. I used the 4 screws provided in the box,The mount isn't going anywhere! The magnet itself is very strong, and even with the car suspension, the pistol I place their while driving doesn't shift at all. The magnet has a little flex to it, and so I was able to mount it flush to the panel. I've already recommended this to my friends and family, and can't describe how easy to install this product is! Looks nice but i have a .380 and this will not hold it my gun slides off not a good buy

Installed it to the bottom of my table. Failed to hold a Mossberg 500 18.5 inch barrel with a pistol grip. I'm still giving it two stars because it can probably hold my pistol, but this will not support rifles or shotguns, and it most certainly cannot hold 38 lbs, let alone half that.

The product works well and keeps a steel full size semi-auto (17+1 9mm) plus extra magazine suspended under a nightstand with no issue. However it comes with cheap screws that sheer easily screw heads should sit down a bit more to prevent any possibility of scratching the finish on the firearms.I'd have no problem buying another one. A 3 star review = "It's Okay", and I'd agree with that.

If you need a strong magnet, get this one. I had it holding a 5” – 1911 and it took too much strength pull the weapon in the tight clearance area it was mounted in. I swapped it out with a weaker magnet that worked just right. Get this one if you need strength. I suggest coating it with a couple of pieces of Gorilla Tape to prevent “SCRATCHING” on your weapon.

Pretty strong magnet, I've used it to hold a Glock 17, and a walther ccp. Holds both of them very well (mounted in my gun safe.) one thing I would mention is that if you plan to mount it in your vehicle you will want a lighter gun. When I had my g17 on it in the truck it fell off after going over a few bigger frost heaves. Holds the ccp there for enough though!
