It is intelligent so yes it will charge your battery. It ha sbeen charging my batteries in florida now for two years without a problem. Link under warranty says to contact seller.** A: I do not know about the warranty . It is s good charger and the company is first class. I needed next day delivery . They did their part but UPS did not. At approx. 1/7 the cost of the exact same charger from NIKON (at a completely ridiculous $356.00 !!) the $59.00 for this unit (again, exactly the same charger - inside and out) seems just too good to be true but, alas, it is true. At this price point 2-3 chargers would not be a bad idea. Charge times are fast and charges last for, literally, thousands of shots. It's not built as well as the Nikon OEM charger but it's also a tenth of the price and I have not had any issues with it. I'm not sure it can charge an EN-EL18C 100% but it gets pretty close. The one bummer is that the adapter included with it does not work, for charging my D3S batteries so I'm still using two different chargers. Maybe I just got a bad adapter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great! *by on Reviewed in the United States February 25, 2021* Purchased this charger, a Wasabi en-el18 battery and DTSE BL-5 battery cover to use with my MB-D18 grip/D850. This charger has no instruction manual with the exception of what's written on the back of the charger. 1st time using the charger it did exactly what I expected, it calibrated and charged the battery in about 3.5hrs. Upon inserting the battery into the grip and checking the battery info it showed full charge and # of pics reset to zero. On a side note, the Wasabi battery did give the boost to 9FPS on the D850.
