Saved me from spending a lot of money
I have a 2014 Cadillac XTS and my back taillight went out. I went to the auto part store, and it was a few hundred dollars to replace it. My husband refused to pay that much, so he took it apart and found out this part needed to be replaced. We went to Amazon and found this part for a fraction of the price. I ordered and received it the next day. My husband popped it in, and I was back in business. So, I am Very Happy, and if it happens again, I will repurchase.

This item is horrible I've bought this same bulb multiple hoping the next one would last longer than a few months, but so far none has lasted longer than 3-moths.

Works Great..
Perfect fit for tail lights. 2013 xts Platinum. Don’t be fooled by the dealer. Reach up under the car twist.. and unplug. Install bulb before reconnecting the plug. Takes a little effort, but you save $300+ dollars... the dealer will rip you off..!

Don’t Let the dealer work you!
My brake light went out on my Cadillac XTS 2016 and I called the dealership and they told me I needed the whole assembly. The Cost was $900 to replace, I looked it up and saw it was most likely a bulb. Searched it on Amazon and purchased this bulb and now I’m good money! I looked up a video on installation on Youtube and did it myself. Saved a lot of money not listening to the Cadillac dealership and doing a quick Google and Amazon search.

Did not fit the new replacement receptacle.
It did fit the broken receptacle however that receptacle is not serviceable.
