Deluxe Lavalier Lapel Clip-on Microphone for Apple iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Smartphones or Other Recording Divices

Hey Boss Kitty! I just ordered this mic and the thing works fantastic with my phone and tablet, but I can't seem to get it to work with my computer. Is there any reason it may not work with a Windows 8 computer? I've plugged it in and tried to get it to work in he exact spot my other mic would plug in with no results. Would give 5 stars if I could figure it out! Very happy with it besides the computer issue. Thanks, definitely recommend!

While the microphone is certainly not suited for high-quality recordings, it was definitely a huge step up from the microphone that's installed on my computer. This is a very nice, easy-to-use product for people on a budget who are looking to improve the quality of their voice recordings.

Okay, the microphone itself is absolutely outstanding. Truly excellent. And for use with Smartphones, there is nothing more than is needed. And if you're going to be more than a few feet from your PC - like I'll be standing about 15 feet away, you'll need this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RXNUIAE.But, again, the microphone itself is really great. Records well. Doesn't pick up noise. Excellent reproduction.

I hook this mic up to my iPhone 5s, and it provides outstanding recordings. I use the cheapest GoPro available to make fishing videos, but my version has horrible audio, so I picked this microphone up to record audio separately (and then combine with video later). The wind screen works really well, and it's extremely selective regarding what it picks up. Even when recording in the rain, the pitter patter of raindrops against my jacket is barely noticeable compared to the volume of my voice. Fantastic buy!

when i opend the package,i found that the parts separate and don't work.

Smaller than I expected so I was a little concerned, but it worked well for audio to mix with action cam video. The cam audio is muted because of the waterproof case.
