Best procedure mask out there with photos and video
The media could not be loaded. First a lot of people have picked up bad masks over the internet in "bait and switch" schemes. For this mask there is a blueish Pac-Dent seal on the box. When the seal is pealed back it says VOID. The masks are enclosed in a sealed bag within the box. The word "Open" appears on the bag in black letters. These masks are intended for a dentist office. Several photos and video posted.Overall this is the best quality procedure mask which can be found right now. One difference between cheap masks and higher quality one is the middle layer of meltblown fabric. Cheaper masks use an inferior layer. A high quality procedure mask uses a better quality fabric inside. When cutting the mask apart there are 3 layers. Like all procedure masks there is a garbage bag tie in the nose, but this is a more susbtantial one. It has two wires in the tie compared to single wire ties in other masks. It feels more substantial. This mask Im guessing will offer about 70% filtration similar to 3M procedure mask whereas a cheap generic version is about 50%. When it says 98% filtration they are talking about bacterial filtration. Bacteria is much larger than CoronaVirus. If you are looking for superior filtration go with FDA listed or NIOSH listed N95 mask. All these masks can hold a quantity of water in them without leakage. So it appears to have some fluid resistance. When compared to other masks these masks seem more substantial. When held up to the light all you see is black. My purpose with this mask is to place over a KN95 mask and use as a prefilter.

Great product but...
The product is black on both sides so it's hard to find the proper fitting at first. If they could somehow indicate front and back, it would be a better product. I talked to a Pac Dent rep when I had some concerns about fraudulent blue masks I had purchased. They addressed my concerns and seem like a great company.Since the mask wearing is mostly theater in the hallways of my public building with no people and a local ordinance, I purchased the black ones so no one would accuse me of taking theirs as people get squirrelly. If you are concerned about having another level of protection, I've purchased the pac dent astm 3 masks on this website in blue. I use those ones when I'm concerned with the environment I will be in. Be sure to find the ones sold and fulfilled by amazon. They should arrive in a box like the photo and have a sealed sticker on them. The black ones look great and once you look at the photo on the box, you'll discover front and back.

Medical grade masks with Lot number on box
I received the masks 8 days after ordering (one day later than estimated delivery date). The package was stuck in "customs", even though the package was shipped from California/Las Vegas. I bought the masks that were sold and fulfilled from Amazon, not a 3rd party seller. The masks came in a sealed box, but there was no plastic bag inside to keep the masks dust free, which is why I took a star off. Like some other reviews, my box had a lot number on it and on the opposite side it has "medical face mask requirements..." rather than "premium face mask requirements..." on it. Also, nowhere on the box or inside the box does it say that it is NOT for medical use.The masks are soft on the face and quite comfortable. I'm a small female and I think the size is perfect for my face. The pleats on the masks seem slightly closer together than other masks I have tried, which makes the mask more 3D so I have a bit more breathing room. It can also make the mask seem smaller, but it has the same dimensions as other surgical masks I have. I also weighed some of the masks randomly from the box (somehow some masks felt thinner than others), which ranged from 3.14 grams to 3.21 grams, which is pretty close. I believe I received legitimate medical grade masks that are ASTM level 2.

High quality filtration with not a great fit
These are atsm level 2 so you know they filter well. Additionally all my research shows that these come from a legit company as they have a website and this brand and style are sold by dental shops. However, it doesn't matter how well your mask filters if it doesn't fit well. These are quite thin, and don't seem as high quality as others I've purchased. I bought the medicom safe masks which are thicker at the top band and seal well to the nose and upper face. These do not. The band seems flimsy. Hard because not a lot of companies sell black.

Nice, but seems a little flimsy
I've ordered black and they work well. The white seem a little flimsy so they suck into mouth

Good 'nose wire' but directions could be better
Just got these. I wanted ASTM 2 or above just in case they were better than others. They happen to fit my face as well as any other surgical masks I have used. The nose wire is stronger, maintains its shape better, than other masks I've used. I cut one mask apart to examine it. The nose wire is like a twist tie except it has TWO wires in it instead of only one. And the wires are encased in plastic instead of paper which seems to add a bit more structural strength.I've always wondered if there is an 'inside' and an 'outside' to masks like this. Looking at the box I read 'put pleats on the outside'. But... pleats are a two-sided sort of thing... BOTH sides 'have pleats' :). I went online and found an article (unrelated to this manufacturer) saying that the outside pleats should point down as having them point up can allow them to hold droplets. That makes sense to me.
