It works fantastically for that. The only thing is that the juice will be clear. If you want it red. Dehydrate the tomato and grind it into a powder. Blend it into the juice until you get the color you want. **Q: Basically, it’s the same question I have for all the models of steam juicers. What keeps the hose from melting while extracting juices?** A: It does not melt while extracting juice because it is made of high temperature-safe silicone. Most food grade silicone tubing is safe from 260 degrees Farenheidt to as much as 500 degrees Farenheidt. Just clip the tubing while juicing to an upper handle away from burners and you'll be fine. **Q: I see the product weight and shipping weight is same, which is a wrong info. So what is the actual weight of the product?** A: The assembled juicer out of the box weighs 10 lbs 6.5 oz. Because of the 1/2" steel induction plate on the stock pot, it's the heaviest piece at just a hair over 5 lbs. The lid weighs 1 lb 4 oz. ## Frequently Bought Together - VINEYARD Deluxe Stainless Steel Steam Juicer & Roaster Set - Induction Friendly, Tempered Glass Lid, Cool-Touch Handles, 8 Quart Capacity - Drink the Harvest: Making and Preserving Juices, Wines, Meads, Teas, and Ciders - Norpro, White & Silver Strainer Stand, 12in/30.5cm high and 6.5in/16.5cm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/215421933-victorio-vkp1150-deluxe-stainless-steel-steam-juicer-silver](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/215421933-victorio-vkp1150-deluxe-stainless-steel-steam-juicer-silver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
