カラオケを楽しみに購入しましたが、マイクの音声が貧弱で歪み、音も悪く使い物にならない。本体には擦過傷が多く中古品のようでした。パイオニア全盛期の頃を知る私にこの様な製品は残念でならない。

Pioneer dv-2042k multi regional dvd player is the worst ever. It is extremely noisy like it is falling apart inside. The first one the dvd door stuck open after a week and it just quit working. Amazon sent a replacement and the same awful noises as the first. This time it would not play the dvd's. It kept freezing up and skipping and eventually the front door cover fell off of it ! I only bought because it was non regional coded and had auto resume from last stop. With all the hassles of getting these out and testing them then returning them , it was a big waste of my time to now have to start researching for a new dvd player ! Pioneer used to be great quality but not anymore !

カラオケ搭載のＤＶＤが壊れたので探していたら、これがヒットしました。前回のも日本のメーカーでしたが価格的にはこちらの方が３０００円安かった。ただ、マイク端子は１個しかないので、デュエットはできません。カラオケを選択すると採点機能がついています。（少し甘めの採点かな）使い勝手は、リモコンが全て英語。トレイの取り出しは本体で行わなくてはいけません。性能の面では、読み込み時間も普通です。難点は読み込み時にハウリング（ブーンと言う音)がスピーカーに入る。今まで８台の(廉価な物も含む)ＤＶＤを使用していますが、スピーカーに音が入るのはこれが初めてでした。カラオケ時のマイク使用もこの音を拾います。自動メニュー表示はないので、ディスク内表示は操作が必用です。そのときもハウリングが入ります。日本のリモコン配置に慣れている方には、このリモコンは使いにくいかもしれません。決定ボタンは十字キーの中心にはなく、右端にあるＥＮＴＥＲで行いますが操作性は劣ります。リモコンからの反応も少し遅いようです。説明書は日本語では有りません。輸出用なので入っていません。画質は問題なく綺麗な画面です。読み込み時に出たハウリングは、再生中はありませんでした。リージョンフリーですが、ＶＲ録画には対応していないので、ＶＲ再生が必要な方は他の機種を選択した方がいいと思います。最後にこの価格の製品としてはお買い得だと思います。なお、ハウリングについては、私の購入した機械での話ですから、他の方のも出ているのかは確認をしていません。

My primary purpose for purchasing this player is to watch British videos. This replaces an old Daewoo player that had recently died. This player does a much better job with playing these videos. We had a lot of difficulty with the old player getting the voice and video to sync up. This player is right on the money. The picture is significantly better then the old Daewoo.What wasn't clear prior our purchasing this player is that it doesn't play CDG Karaoke CDs. The manual does list it doesn't play these files -- but none of the marketing material I could find says this. The device comes with a mic jack but it is unclear what kind of Karaoke it will play, if any. I'm only familiar with the CDG style karaoke. So this was a big disappointment.
