Is this item good for colored fabric?

Yes All Free & Clear is good for colored fabric. However, please always follow the washing instructions on the garment.

Will this fade black clothing? Will it also fade colors? Am I suppose to only use this for whites?

Works for all colors. Always do darks in cold water, however.

Is this product safe to wash new born/baby clothes?

is it safe for septic systems?

I would not use this at our farm because the ingredients are toxic. We have a septic system for the main house and a lagoon for the barns. Both require natural bacteria to function properly. Adding in chemicals that can damage or kill off the bacteria will result in catastrophic failure. These chemicals are found in laundry detergents that are not natural.
