A great alternative to the more expensive competing products! **UPDATED**
****UPDATE 12/16/20I initially really loved these cups, they worked so well to ensure that my chickens always had water. Unfortunately that was short lived! I woke up Saturday to check on my girls only to see that their bucket was empty and the ground below was completely soaked! The cups were still attached so I filled the container again to see the issue for myself and lo and behold, they were leaking tremendously! No matter how I angled them they would not stop so I went to gently unscrew the cups to see if switching them would help and the thread snapped off from the cup! It was almost like they were made of paper, which was astonishing considering they have they have only been in the shade in our mild Southern California weather, so it definitely was not sun damage. I loved them so much so it was really disappointing for them to only last 5 months.****I was really hesitant at first to purchase these watering cups due to the lack of reviews, but they were such a good price that I ahead and got them. I’m honestly so glad that I did, they’re exactly what I wanted! I was looking for something that would give my girls plenty of water without having to worry that they’d get dehydrated because they didn’t understand the pecking cups. These automatically fill and are incredibly easy to clean out, just wipe out the dirt with a finger and they’re good! They’re about 3 inches, much larger than anything else I’ve tried which I appreciate. Overall, my only complaint would have to be that I didn’t wait a few more days to purchase, as the six pack became available only a few days after I bought the two pack. Would definitely buy again in the future.

Frustrated
I really wanted to like these but after using them for a few months I’m going to find another brand to try. There have been several times I’ve gone out to check on the chickens only to find my 50 gallon drum completely empty because the cups keep coming loose causing the water to leak out. This last time I checked on them, a cup was completely broken off. As mentioned in another’s review, the prongs to keep the cups in place need to be longer so they stay in place if bumped by the chickens. If a redesign were to happen I’d give them another try, but for now I’m in search for something different.

Not as we had hoped.
Update:3/5/2021So we have been using for a couple months now and only 2 are left. Most have broken off right at the threaded area where they attach to the barrel and a couple broke off the tabs that hold the cup on. We are so sad that aren't really working for us.We have been using these for about a week now. They seem to be working well. We use them on a barrel for watering chickens. It hasn't froze since we put these in as we will see how they work in that but for usualnise they have been great. Appreciate the nuts that hold them in much better than other cups.

Cheap and not long lasting
I like the size and the ease for install which really goes for all the similiar cups of this kind.I bought due to cost. But not I have to pay more because of a design defect.the cups getting knocked off angle and sometimes completely off and all the water drains out.this is due to the small (too small) white tabs on the side that the cups pivot on, they are about 1/16" to 1/8" too small and every bird i have triend them with knocks them off, baby chick to full grown, chickens, turkeys, guinea, and quail. it's really sad.I now have 4 water stations just to ensure my fowl will have water all day, just in case one of these cups fail.

I would not recommend they are worthless!
They attach easily although once set up the chickens climb or lay on the cups and dislodge/break them off at the swivel point. Emptying the water container or water supply in a matter of a couple minutes. Once they drop off to the ground the chicken pick out the little rubber seal in the cup swivel area rendering them useless for reinstallation. These watering cups are useless and time consuming trying to make them work. Save yourself a lot of money and time by building your own chicken watering system with a 5 gallon bucket and a pan as seen numerous times on YouTube.com I would not recommend or purchase these watering cups. A waste of money and time.

They broke within the 1st week of use.
I liked the concept of this idea and I was really hoping this would work. I attached these in a pic pipe alittle off the ground once my birds started drinking out of it springs came off and cups came undone and my bucket of water drained out leaving birds super thirsty. To fix this problem I would design a longer side prongs to make sure the cups remained on white base.

The best chicken water cups.
I think these are better than the peck style cups. These are sturdy and the bowl is large. They fit the same size hole as most others. I swapped these with the ones on my bucket in a few seconds. Comes with hardware nice plastic wing nuts that won't rust, quick and easy to tighten. I would recommend paying attention to the height that you mount them so that they don't rest on or contact the ground or anything like that, if you mount them to low on a bucket that you carry to the hose to fill and they are set to low on the bucket it will hold them open while you fill. These were not offered with Prime, but the shipping from the seller direct was still very fast.

I’m sorry but these aren’t working out at all…
I pretty much ruined a good container with these, because the entire full one of water drained our everywhere at first use. I’m not sure why but the cups must just continue to flow. There’s no leaking from the sides of the holes I cut, just straight from the cups themselves. What a drag!!!

Not well made, break along the threaded insert making them useless.
I cannot recommend these to anyone

Arrived Broken
Arrived Broken!Seller promised to send me new replacement, but seller disappeared. No reply e-mail, nothing. Also return period closed while I am waiting for the replacement(two to three weeks ship from US)Feel scam somehow, avoid this seller and this produce. It's cheap made, broken if you duck or chicken put pressure on it.

Arrived broken
Haven't tried them yet but one of 6 arrived in pieces. Will update on how the rest work out but so far not impressed that they sent out a broken item.

work well
Much better than the ones that you are supposed to "train" the chickens to drink from by having them push the tab to dispense the water. A definite good purchase.

Great product
Product is bigger than most waterers. Seems to work as advertised.
