Kids Backpack for Boys & Girls, Pack-it-All, Lightweight 15" Bookbag with Padded Straps – Ideal for Preschool, Kindergarten & School, Ages 3–10 – Orange Shimmer

This is the second backpack in this style I've bought for my kinder, now first grader. She loves this design and I love it too because she can get into it easy and there aren't a ton of pockets (just the right amount) to lose items in.

When my daughter began daycare we got her a cute little SkipHop bag, but she quickly outgrew it. I then picked up a random inexpensive (think $15-20) one with decent reviews off amazon for preschool and it held up for about 2 months before one of the zippers broke. Now this particular bag could be made to work, but I didn't want to chance the other zipper breaking while she was in school and it becoming a hassle for both her and her teachers. So back to amazon I went and this is when I found the Wildkin bag. This thing is STURDY. You can feel how much more solid the fabrics, zippers, stitching, even the netting for the pockets are. It will definitely last much longer than the others I've purchased and it hold a ton. She brings two pairs of clothes, a small blanket and crib sheet, a pack of wipes, some pull-ups (ugh potty training), and there's still plenty of space for her lunch thermos, occasionally her tablet, on weekends extra snacks, and her water bottle on the outside pocket. I also got the matching lunch bag, which I like, but wish it was slightly larger or had a more rectangular shape rather than the arched top. The only gripe I have with this backpack is that I wish the main zipper went in the opposite direction. When you had a water bottle in the side pocket the zipper tab gets tucked behind the bottle which can sometimes be a pain to grab and difficult for her to pull.

Bought this as a gift for my 7 year old nephew who loves dinosaurs. He has had it for almost 2 years now and it’s still going strong despite the crazy heaving loads of books he’s carrying around even at that age.

My daughter used this backpack for kindergarten last year. It was a great size for her and lasted pretty well. There was some definite wear and tear/cracking on the metallic part by the last quarter of the year but not bad enough that I felt the need to replace it.My one complaint for this backpack is the zippers/lack thereof! The clip on the front was great for her lunchbox but I really wish that yellow pocket was a zipper because as an open pocket it was pretty useless for us. There's also only one zipper to open the main pocket (I feel like backpacks usually have two zipper pulls to open/close) and when closed it sits right behind the water bottle pocket. Super annoying when I needed to add something to her bag if we'd already put her water bottle in!Overall, we were happy with this bag and it lasted pretty well for us. I wasn't at all surprised that the metallic part cracked with use and do wish the zippers were better thought out but I'd still recommend if you can get past those things.

This backpack is a great size and made of great quality. It fits a ton of school supplies and yet is perfect for my first grader. The colors Ramazing.

Super happy with this. Big enough for a jacket and file folder but is lightweight enough yet sturdy for my 4yo.
