Worked once I read included instructions ..
Works as advertised. At first thought they were defective because spring wouldn't engage.... well I also learned the importance of reading the instructions included.. worked well with my 1/8 shockcord (doubled through for backpack loops)

Outstanding retention device!
I use these on my shoes, my sweats, my hoodie, bags, you name it! They're great! I used to put two of these on a string to keep them in place, but only need one of these to get the job done. I'm impressed!(And bulk is definitely much cheaper than two at a time at the local sports store ... if they even have any in when I want them!)

80% were useless out of the box
Well over 75% had springs that were either too short or not strong enough to even close the little hole where the cord goes through. Out of a ten pack, two worked.

Push down very hard if spring isn’t engaged when received
Great, strong cord locks. Great for string/cord tie pants or shorts instead of tying a bow

Good unit overall.
The springs are strong, well made little unit overall. The only feature that's missing is a little ridge inside the eye that pinches into the 550 cord. Its a feature I don't see on most of these sinches, but I have some that do have it and the hold is superior. Probably one of the more commonly useful sinch designs there is.

Not for thick corded hoodies.
Worked for awhile. Then began catching on strings and damaging them.

They are what they are
Bought for a surplus LBTC2657 pack I picked up with some missing cord locks. Picked these up and they're just what were needed. They work as they should and haven't had any problems.
