I found this set to be very useful for cleaning out by dryer vent duct work.In my house it is about 20 feet from the dryer, across the ceiling to the outside of the house.My issues with it are these:I find that the instructions could tell you how to connect the pieces together with better language. The kit comes with a hand drill adapter obviously to use on a hand drill. Great but they don't tell you how to best use it.I put the adapter tightly on one extension piece and the brush on another piece. Beginning with these 2 pieces I cleaned out that far. Then I loosened these pieces and added extensions between teh 2 as I went to clear the entire length of my duct. Once I got all the way through, I turned my dryer on fluff and slowly backed the entire length back out of the duct. Thiis blows all the loose lint out resulting in a very clean duct system.Another thing I think would have been more helpful is a quick connect joint system to make it easier to add/remove extension pieces.The kit worked great though and is easy to store.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the bit of difficulty in use. Having the thread and unthread constantly as you go is a pain. A quick connect system would have been a lot easier to manage.

What a great product! I used at least 25 feet of the set cleaning my dryer duct, and found a ton of lint. Started from the outside, then I went inside, moved and disconnected the dryer, and cleaned from the inside (you always need to do this because your vent may be clear, yet there is a clog right at the dryer). The product worked great, was exceptionally easy to add segments. I did find that to UNDO the segments wasn't easy, they get pretty tight and it helps to have another set of hands to do the disassembly. That's good, because you don't want any of them coming apart while inside the duct. Saved me at least a hundred bucks just on the first use! Wow!

The product worked as described until kt came to a turn in the duct. The instructions show the brush going around a turn, but when I tried it the nylon shaft sheared off leaving the brush and the broken off shaft 17 ft down the duct. I had to dismantle the duct work to get it out.

Easy to use and saved us 2 weeks and 300$ We have 2 dryers and had scheduled a guy to come out. We got a LARGE amount of wet lint and the “airflow” alarm went off on our dryer. It had been on since we bought it and the dryer wasn’t great. Or so I thought. Once cleared the “good airflow “ light came on and the dryer works in 1/2 the time. Excellent purchase.

I bought new and received used. Once you put this product together you cannot take it apart and if you do OMG good luck and God bless. I do not recommend this product but if you do put it together and use it make sure you use it as much as possible before you have to rip out your hair trying to take it apart.When I order new I want you not used from someone else’s return.I do not recommend and I will not recommend this Product

This is good for safety measures but 3 of the plastics rods broke when I was using it.. it got hot and snapped took me a while to get it out the vent. I dont know if I can return it now because I waited long to use it. It did remove the lint I do have extra rods to extend as well. Will update when it's a successful usage.

We have a long vent almost 21’ that ascends wall over door frame and runs in wall to exterior wall 2 90 deg turns and a 30 degree. Don’t know if that plays a part but the brush head and last screw broke off the rod in our duct on first attempt to use. tried to fish out no luck; professional tried to fish out no luck; multiple holes in drywall and vent pipe cut to get this POS out. Will end up costing me almost $400. Beware if long exhaust vent
