TigerHart Prudence The Platypus - 21 Inch Stuffed Animal Plush

For the price, this is a pretty good platypus plush. Not the highest quality one out there (for example, the eyes on mine were noticably unequal distances from the bill), or the most accurate to the animal, but it's a good price for the size, and doesn't fall into the pattern many plush do where they give the platypus an inaccurate, checkered beaver tail. The fabric is soft and has no harsh smells, although I would recommend running a needle over the seams a few times to free trapped "fur," since that contributed to a bit of an awkward look on mine out of the bag. Overall, good quality and size for the price. As a collector of platypus plush, I am happy to add this one to my collection.

My grandson absolutely loved this platypus. When he told me he wanted a stuffed one, I wasn't even sure I would find one. I sent him pics of a couple different options on Amazon, and he chose this one. Smart kid! It's very soft and cuddly! He smiles every time he picks it up. It's very well made and has held up really well!

This is a gift for my sister who absolutely adores platypus. I was looking for one at the best quality at a decent price and this one won out--it's super cute and huggable and I love that the bill and feet are more leather-esque. It really gives it character. I almost can't wait to give it to her for her birthday because I know she'll be just as excited as I was to see it.

Inexpensive and super cute - cute face too

My 8 year old loves this platypus, Prudence. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it had a small hole on it's back. I'm not sure if it came like that or not. As soon as Prudence arrived, my child whisked it away to play with and then discovered the hole about an hour later. I was able to sew it up and you can't even tell that the hole was there. It's soft and cute. We've had it for about a week and it's holding up well...especially since it gets lots of snuggles and occasionally plays outside.

This platypus is awesome for the money. It is huge (almost 2 ft?), and it is so soft. It is very good quality and I am pinching myself that it was only 12 bucks? My 12 year old is going to flip when he opens it for Xmas, it was his “spirit animal” in a school project and we’ve all been teasing him since but this thing is COOL!

It's very large and soft shows the unique qualities of a plydapus my students will grab this toy over the koala ,emu or the Kangaroo. we are learning about how God created animals unique to their continent and this toy helps kids really learn it.good job

Who doesn't love a platypus? I give my grandkids a stuffed animal (instead of sugar) for Easter every year. The one boy is growing up and hates to admit he still loves them, so I was looking for a more interesting, but cute, critter. I was so delighted when this guy arrived. It is perfect.In fact, I'm afraid there may be a trading war on Easter morning; they're all gonna want the platypus! Thanks for a great product at a good price.
