DuraPro 7.4V 5500mAh Battery GSP0931134 for JBL XTREME Xtreme Bluetooth Speaker Batteries

After a bad experience with replacement batteries on others devices special Apple , I decided this time to have a go with this replacement battery for JBL Extreme speaker, And I telling you I’m completely shocked with the quality of this battery, after installed I have tested it and incredibly hold the battery power for more than 16 hours at normal volume, I have used constantly this speaker for more than 4 weeks and still the same amazing result. Absolutely value for money as the original battery has ridiculous prices somewhere. I strongly recommend this replacement battery.

My Xtreme gen 1 battery died, so was looking for a replacement. JBL specify 10,000mAh in the Xtreme literature, but I couldn't find one of this capacity anywhere. On removing the old battery it is in fact only 5000mAh. So the DuraPro @ 5500mAh should give 10% more capacity? The removal and replacement took about 20 mins and there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to do it. I only used a #0 & #1 Philips screwdriver and my fingers to wiggle the case open where needed. Getting to the PCB connector is a bit fiddly but in the end I used some long nose pliers to gently unplug it. The replacement plug on the new battery doesn't have a clip like the original but it is a very tight fit and shouldn't vibrate loose. Be careful here because the magnet on the woofer attracts the pliers if they are made from carbon steel! The battery came with some tools that I didn't have to use. There were also 4 self adhesive foam strips I assume that are to cushion the battery? I found it was quite a tight fit once in place and only needed to use one strip to ensure the battery was secured tightly whilst allowing the cover to close completely. Once reassembled, the battery took about 5 hours to fully charge. I have used it on 75% volume for just over 2 hours now and the 4 LEDs are still showing nearly a full charge. Early days but initial impressions are this is a good replacement.

My JBL Xtreme is now over 10 years old and even though I havent used it much, it would switch off even with all the LED's showing a full charge. I watched a video on Youtube on how to replace the battery, it took me about 30 mins. Hopefully the new battery will give my speaker many years of further use.

Absolute life saver, managed to save my beloved JBL Xtreme with this battery. Easy to fit and has massively increased the battery life on the speaker. Would highly recommend if you're comfortable doing a bit of tinkering!

Had to send back as only had five pins - not 6 as original.

Easy to install with videos available online. It took around 30 mins to complete. The battery appears to function exactly how it should, I will definitely update this review if I encounter any issues, poor battery life etc. The screwdrivers supplied were of no use whatsoever and neither was the plastic tool. I’d recommend a small Philips and a flat screwdriver for the job. Be careful when removing the battery cover, there is a delicate cable connected to the LED charging lights that are mounted to the cover. There’s enough cable to lift the cover and unscrew the mount for the LEDs. It’s easy enough but just be aware, the video I watched didn’t show this. Also be care not to damage the speakers once the cover is removed.

So far the battery lasts a decent amount of time, better than a previous battery I brought from a different seller.

My Jbl xtreme first gen speaker battery was only holding charge for an hour so got this to replace it using a YouTube video. It's now back to like new. A full charge lasts about 6 to 8 hours. Very happy considering I bought one from amazon warehouse as well like new for £8 so absolutely chuffed.

Per ora prodotto ottimo ..5_7 ore di utilizzo in base al volume le fa tranquillamente..carica senza problemi e risolvete il triste difetto della carica di questa Meravigliosa cassa jbl.ovvio non è come originale da 10000mah ma è introvabile,poi per il prezzo..unica pecca l utensileria a corredo serve non a molto..fate tutto con un cacciavite a stella medio piccolo e uno a taglio per far leva.spero di essere stato utile

Akku helt zwar nicht ganz so lange wie der Orgienale aber immer noch lange genug. Der Einbau war nicht so schwer als ich gedacht habe man muss nur etwas aufpassen das man nicht an die Lautsprecher kommt. Sonst alles issi
