As a Tire Repair Bag
Xlab 22 ci Rocket Pocket - installed on my round / oval tubed alum framed Focus road bike. Was interested in an alternative to a seat bag, this one fits great, nice quality.Working around the rear brake cable that is in the 8 o-clock position on the top tube wasn't an issue, the velcro is plenty long for this type of frame and you will want to trim the straps to tidy up after you settle on its fitment. Keep in mind the stem needs to turn freely so don't cinch that strap too tight and cut too much off - rather leave it slightly loose and use an o-ring as a rubber-band slipped over the straps between the bag and the stem, this keeps the straps slightly tensioned and tidy as they wrap around the stem. The bag fits right up to the stem without any real gap thanks to the 70 degree angle design. So far I have it stocked like so:2- 16 gram CO21- Lenzyne inflator1- Park tool patch kit2- Park tool tire levers (with the spoke holder/hooked ends sawed off to conserve space)1- Park tool tire boot patch1- one sided razor blade1- pointed tip Tweezerette(to dig puncture debris from tire)2- latex gloves1/2- disposable shop towel (it's like a tough paper towel)1- pkg electrolyte tablets2- ibuprofen2- band-aids1- zip tie1- paper moneyWith this content it is not stuffed but nicely full with some rounding on the sides. To nitpick I cut off the coated metal zipper pull and replaced it with a simple rubber o-ring, this seems to be working out, if not I'll tie on a small cord, I just don't like the look of a big zipper tang on a small bike bag.60 mile test ride went just fine. As with any bento box or bag mounted here your knee may contact the bag while peddling out-of-seat and tossing the bike laterally for leverage such as during a climb. All bag locations have there drawbacks, I can still jostle it from side to side but now there is a soft limit before the hard limit (ie hitting the top tube or stem) which I can live with.

And the most useful. At least
This is the least dorky top tube bag I've found. And the most useful. At least, for my uses. I prefer gummeis as on the bike food (because, really, gels are kinda like drinking snot), but I hate having to dig around a pocket for an open package, fishing out a gummy, getting the package back in a pocket, and doing the same thing ten minutes later, all the while hoping I don't spill gummies everywhere. This bag is just the right size for a couple packs, and one can stay open and ready right there in front of me. Not to mention seeing them there reminds me to actually eat.The attachment velcro is powerful and makes for a very stable bag. No slippage, no swaying. No, it won't hold your phone. Unless you've got a Nokia from 2002.No, it won't hold a rain jacket.Yes, it will barely hold a small wallet.Yes, it will hold enough food for a couple hours. You could cram six gels in there if you really want to.

Great tire bag solution
I had previously purchased the X-lab Delta Wing 225 specific for the ISM Adamo and I wanted a tire bag for under the saddle. I couldn't find an X-lab tire bag that was designed for the Delta Wing - so I contacted X-lab. They got back to me the same day and confirmed that there is not currently a tire bag specifically designed for the Delta Wing and the Adamo. However, they followed up within a couple of hours with a photo from a pro's set up where they were using the Rocket Pocket run vertically from the saddle down the back of the seat post. I ordered the Rocket Pocket from Amazon and it works like a dream. So I have Rocket Pocket XL upfront for gels, etc. and the Rocket Pocket hung down the back of my seat post for my inner tube, CO2, etc. A great combinations and it actually fits very well. Thanks to X-lab for the advise.

An ideal small frame bag
I have two of these bags and use them in different ways. They are very well made and thought out. They work well and are used by amateurs and pros alike. I use one in the traditional position behind the handlebar stem where it tucks and attaches easily and actually improves aerodynamics. It is perfect for quick reach nutrition, keys, id, etc. I use another one upside down between the top tube and the seat tube. It makes a very neat alternative location for an inner tube if you want to keep the back of your saddle clear. Like all X-Lab products quality and thoughtful design show through clearly.

Very small
This bag is much smaller than anticipated. The label that came with it says that it could only hold one bar and a few gels. Forget storing anything else in there once you have that. It was tough to get my Galaxy S4 inside, and even if I wanted to force it, I would't be able to fit anything else.Seller should have made this clearer in product description. "22-cubic inches" doesn't mean anything to me...

Perfect bag and aero
I bought this for my first half Ironman and love it. Was able to keep some food in there for the 56 mile ride. I use it for training as well as it does a great job of storing equipment or food. I recommend it! Small in size, durable, and will not fall off.

You can close the zipper with one hand with practice
Works as advertised.Pros:-Fastens very securely and stays vertical on my Cervelo P2-High quality-Easy open zipper-Can hold 4-5 gels or 1 cliff bar and 2-3 gels comfortabyCons:-The zipper does not close as easily as it opens. But you can still close it with one hand while riding. It's easy, but a little hard to explain. I grasp the zipper between thump and index finger and use my pinkie and ring fingers to pull the bag tight (along the tub top) and then inch the zipper closed a bit. Once you get it moving its easy to closed. This is not a problem most of the time because I just leave the bag open for easy access to my gels.-The zipper does not close as easily

Great little bag for top tube storage
This bag worked perfectly for my road bike during an Olympic distance triathlon. It's small, but not too small. Zipper works very easily. Held two gels without a problem. Room to fit more.
