Wow, this thing singlehandedly turned my Corolla into a Tesla! Not quite, but after seeing the Tesla's large display in its single console I started thinking.The mount fit right into my aftermarket head unit's CD player and seems stable enough. It came with two larger rectangular metal plates, one with adhesive and one without. I mounted both on the back of my iPad (using Command strips for the non-adhesive one) spaced just as the magnets are on the mount. Now I can get into my car, put the iPad right up in a second and start up Plex for music and Waze for navigation/traffic alerts. The magnets were actually strong enough to hold the iPad up with a smart cover folded back between the plates and the magnets, but it wasn't quite strong enough that I wanted to chance driving with that every day so I just take the smart cover off and pop it back on as soon as I get to work.Obviously it will depend on your car and the CD player location, but mine is at the perfect height where it does not obstruct any of the windshield view (one of my biggest issues with suction cup style mounts).Minor gripes from the same problem: the magnets do seem to tilt down a little bit over time (talking over a few days), and tapping controls on it do tend to make it 'bounce' a little. It would be nice if the ball and socket joint that the magnets connect at could be tightened to prevent those two issues.I put one of the round metal plates inside my phone's case and it didn't add to the thickness at all or interfere with the case going back on. Even though my case is semi-opaque I completely forgot the plate was there. I have an extra round plate. It's nice that I got more than I needed.Conclusion:Definitely worth the $20, if my wife likes it I will likely buy another for the other car.

This thing works awesome. I recently purchased this as I was looking for a mount for my LG G-pad tablet. I was unsure about the magnetic mount and if it would work well for a tablet but after reading the reviews on here I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Hands down the best in-car mount I've ever owned!I installed two of the plates that come with in my tablet flip style case and it holds it on very securely. I tested it on an extensive road trip shortly after getting it and the tablet never moved once attached. Also, since the kit comes with 4 plates, I was able to add one to my phone and my wife's phone for when attaching to the mount when we're not using the tablet. Only one of the plates comes with an adhesive side though, but you can find decent double sided tape at any hardware store if you need it, or install the plates inside your phone case.Great mount idea since I never use my car's cd player nowadays anyways.

The Infiniapps cell holder is great. I ordered both the single and dual holder. My phone has a fairly thick case and it still held well. However, I repositioned the plate outside the case to ensure it didn't move. It's nice to climb into my car and just place my phone on the holder, even easier to grab and go. Easy to install and the phone stays solid. The kit comes with several metal plates to chose for best fit and size. Since my original order I purchased another for a gift. The only downside, and it doesn't impact function, is the set screw is a bit long and hangs down in front of my stereo/GPS screen a bit much. Overall a great product and a good value.

Awesome CD Slot mount. Fit 2009 Ford Flex like a glove. I have tried several, but this one is by far the best. Sturdy and very minimal vibration holding a 5.5 inch screen navigation and a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with Otterbox Defender case. Magnets are very strong and do not damage device or data. Secure mount to CD Slot. Easy to install. Comes with everything needed to install to vehicle and plates to secure to device(s). Perfect. InfiniApps Technology LLC shipped quickly and package was well protected. Would buy again and have recommended to family and friends.

The concept is actually good. I had it for a month, and worked okay. One side, the ball was loose in the socket (needs more friction) and would topple from the weight of my phone. The second side, had plenty of friction to keep the phone from pivoting. Then after a month, it fell out of the CD slot. I decided to put it back it and tighten the screw at the bottom some more to keep it in, thinking maybe the screw got loose. This happened about 3 more times over the course of a week. Then finally the mechanism that slides into the CD slot snapped after my 4th attempt at trying to keep the darn thing in the CD slot. I contacted InfiniApps on their website to claim my 1 year warranty....but no response from them.Pros: Concept is good.Cons: Poor quality. Customer service non-responsive.

I purchased the original single mount 2 years ago and love it! I had a Samsung S4 then. Now I have an iPhone 6s Plus which the original mount works great overall but when I drive over large bumps my phone fell off. So I started searching for the duo mount hoping it would give the extra secured attachment. When I tried it it wasn't what I was expecting. It is great for attaching 2 devices but not for my purposes. The mounts do not align together when you turn it towards you especially for gps purposes. Will be returning it back. I still love the products from InfinitiApps so if the seller has any ideas or if customers having the same problems and have suggestions, please let me know.
