I bought this Shineloha 2-pack gold planter set to add some vertical greenery and a modern geometric touch to my house after visiting New York aka the “Concrete Jungle”and admiring all the green accents via plants. They look incredibly elegant, but you need to be mindful of how you house your plants inside them. Design & Build: The iron frame feels sturdy, and the high-temperature gold finish is sleek without looking gaudy. The included adjustable chain and extender make it simple to hang from higher ceilings. Pot Functionality: The inner diameter of the detachable pots is exactly 5.5 inches. They are designed without drainage holes to prevent messy water drips onto your floor or furniture. What works well: The aesthetics are a 10 out of 10. The fact that the 5.5" pots lift completely out of the hanging frame makes it incredibly easy to move them. Because there are no drainage holes, they serve perfectly as a cachepot. That’s why I left a plastic insert that holds the plant inside the gold pot; it allows me to easily remove the plant and water it elsewhere if necessary without making a mess. What needs improvement: Getting plants in and out of the rigid metal frame requires patience, especially if your plant has wide or delicate foliage. Additionally, the included ceiling mount requires drilling three separate screws. As someone who absolutely dislikes putting holes in her walls and ceilings, this setup feels like complete overkill for the actual size and weight of the pot, even though it is undeniably sturdy once installed. An excellent decorative choice for small trailing plants, I used Pothos and A ficus repens (vine) provided you treat them as decorative covers and use your own lighter hanging hardware if you want to avoid heavy drilling. Accurate description. Still 5 stars cause I adore it.

These hanging planters are attractive. They arrived on time and in good condition. They are easily adjusted and install.

I ordered a total of 5 hanging metal planters to create a certain geometrical modern vibe in an area of my house. This included orders from 3 different brands. Out of them all, these are my favorite! I prefer these as they include good quality ceiling hooks (the anchors leave something to be desired but that’s not a major deal). They’re the ones with a round base so there’s 3 areas of attachment to the ceiling, which boosts confidence when using this for a beloved specimen. These also include an extra chain. This is nice in case you wish to increase the length... Or something weird happens to the original chain. The extra chain can also be utilized to attach the 2 frames to create a double hanging planter. Note: Adjusting the chain (shortening or lengthening) requires pliers. None of the other brands included hooks or extra chains...... Quality wise, these seem to have the best level of craftsmanship. They just look nice and the pots are removable. I love these so much, I ordered 2 more for other areas! My only major complaint is the size. They can basically only fit 4 inch pots. Of course, I only use these as cover pots. I probably wouldn’t ever use metal as a direct planter due to the risk of rust and since metal is not porous. Also, there’s no drainage holes. Tip: With larger/deeper 4 inch containers, I’ve discovered that the nursery pot can be placed directly into the holder by removing the original pot. This isn’t aesthetically ideal, but I utilized this technique for vining plants, so the nursery pot is almost completely concealed by the leaves. I also have the Black planters and they’re just as awesome as the Gold.

Decent quality and I love the style and size. It’s just what I was looking for. I think the price point of $26.99 plus tax is high for what it is; but they got me because it’s exactly what I wanted.

This is so cute. It is sturdy and actually metal. Not plastic. I was able to adjust the chain so it’s perfect. I bought my mom one too. It really takes a boring plant and makes it extra fancy.

It’s pretty hanging in my living room. The only bad thing is that it gets rusty on the bottom if water drips. Put a liner in the bottom.

These are so great. Super easy to install, look great. Very happy with my purchase! The one downside it that to adjust the height you need to pry open the chain links which causes the black paint to come off slightly - not a big deal to me as not noticeable but just so everyone knows! Would buy again!
