Delta Faucet Ashlyn 14 Series Single-Handle Shower Faucet, Shower Trim Kit with Single-Spray Touch-Clean Shower Head, Stainless T14264-SS (Valve Not Included)

So I needed the shower cartridge mainly. Although I needed the handle and shower head as well. I read reviews, like most of us do, and saw the good and bad.. one of the bads said it leaked from the actual shower head. But like most things in life, sometime you get the bad apple. However, that one review couldn’t have been more accurate. The shower head DOES leak. I went ahead and bought a separate shower head. However, as soon as I removed the leaky shower head, I quickly realized that the water continued to leak. Which tells me the shower cartridge is letting water by. Unless I’m doing something completely wrong when installing... either way I’m very bummed out and disappointed. I’ll be contacting them directly to see what I can do to not have to fall asleep to my shower head dripping.

I'm not a big fan of "rain" type showers but this is NOT that shower experience. Also, I like a lot of water pressure so let me tell you the secret here...take out the water saver (grey thing that screws in) and then also remove the tiny black rubber gasket inside. At first I didn't remove the gasket but it really made a huge difference. You might need to use tweezers to get it out. Then, get ready to enjoy the best shower of your life!On another note, this is a sharp looking shower trim but I wish the screws on the valve were hidden or not so prominent.

Part 1 : I installed this shower kit in early 2016 (stainless steel finish). It took two weeks before the "stainless" steel was stained with water spots...No matter what I tried to get the spots off, they won't come off...And yeah I've tried everything.Part 2 : It is now early 2019. The valve is leaking. And not just an occasional drip - it is leaking at a constant drip-drip rate. Three years and the valve goes bad? Seems sketchy to me. I'd understand it if the kit had cost $50.On the upside, the kit comes with a 5 year warranty. Calling Delta support connected me with a real human that spoke English. The support person made no big deal of my request to send me a new valve and seats, and one week later I have a new valve. It makes me think that this is a common request (?).Given the chance to purchase another shower/bath kit, I wouldn't purchase a Delta again.

This kit is top! I installed this, plus the rough in valve reccomended below the description. I didnt need a tub spout connector so I just got the HF valve. It was all done from the front of a fiberglass shower with no rear access. Had to use the thin wall plate aswell that was recommended in the kit instructions. The fact that I had pex pipe, no copper, and kept the original pex fittings, made this job cake. But, I can guarantee it is not going to be this easy for everyone. Im no plumber, but I did do a bit of extra prep and research to ensure it would all pan out. Gotta say, Delta just has a premium feel and look; plus the ease of installation and options? Very nice shower hardware overall!

Looks great...but flimsy. The lever and spout pipe are the only solid pieces in the kit. This works for freshening up a bath prior to selling but I would not use it in a new home now that I've installed it. The kit comes with a new cartridge that may not fit your Delta valve body if it's pre-2006. I was able to switch out the old top piece with the new one and everything worked just fine.

First of all, it's a Delta. You really can't go wrong with a Delta. Warranty , excellent. I have a small remodeling company, doing most everything in my rebuilds, including plumbing. I always use Delta. I have used other fixtures when clients ask for them , reluctantly . Why Delta? First , they have a universal shower valve body. The body that I installed to go with this also had shut off on the body, so if you needed to change the cartridge , you wouldn't need to shut the water off in the house, nice feature. Also, you can get new cartridges just about anywhere. Now to the item listed, It came in the allotted time, packed very well. The finish is very good, fit the valve body perfectly and works very well.

The product looks great and functions well. As I was afraid, pressure is subpar out of the box for this shower head. I removed the o-ring restrictor and that helped greatly with pressure. We really like the dual pressure/temp control so when we remodeled we were certain to get the same type again. We stuck with Delta 17 series, because the 2 showers we replaced were the Delta 1700 monitor fixtures and lasted 20 years without issue!

This product water spots so bad. This picture was taken after I cleaned it with a cleaner made for water spots. I also have soft water. The shower head seems to be fine.

delta makes one of the best products in its price point. Of course you can get higher quality but you'll need to spend more money. keep it on budget and use delta. I'm not sponsored I'm a contractor

Doesnt come with the blue cartridge I needed (comes with white) which was my reason of purchase so I had to buy seperate, but its a very nice kit. Nicer & cheaper than home depots etc.

This shower head and mixer are the perfect compliment to the taps we ordered. Our master bathroom looks amazing

It's nothing fancy but it seems like a solid unit and it works well. The plate at the lever is a little hard to align nicely but other than that no real complaints.
