Hahnemhle Travel Journal (3.5 x 5.5" Portrait, 62 Sheets)

Very well made journal with heavyweight paper and the color of the paper is closer to white than some that tend toward yellow.

Gave this to my Granddaughter who is a budding artist, from 3 generations of artists. She showed it to me yesterday and the paper is just wonderful filled with pencil drawing and color drawings. It's compact that it goes with her to school and doesn't take up much space in her mini backpack.

I use this journal as a sketchbook and it's great for pencil, watercolor (it's a little more porous than real wc paper but stands up nicely to water), and gouache. It opens nice and flat so that you can really use every centimeter of the pages. It's fantastic.

Ottimo sketchbook realizzato con carta di qualità. Adatto sia a tecniche umide (purchè non acquarelli in stile "bagnato su bagnato") che all'uso con pennarelli e matite acquarellabili. L'unico difetto a mio parere è la dimensione che, essendo circa doppia in spessore rispetto allo standard Moleskine, lo rende meno facilmente tascabile e comunque più pesante. Il problema non si pone ovviamente se, invece che in una tasca, siete soliti stivare lo sketchbook in una borsa o in uno zaino. Con quest'unico limite, rimane un prodotto altamente consigliato.
