Does this mean it works well in the kitchen area near gas range? What is the heat resistance?** A: my understanding is the following: Inherently flame resistant fibers are materials that have flame resistance built into their chemical structures. ... A chemical additive in the fiber or treatment on the fabric is used to provide some level of flame retardancy. During a fire, chemically dependent fabrics rely on a chemical reaction to extinguish the flame. So in short it will burn but not easily or well. **Q: Is the glue on tape safe for granite countertops?** A: The tape is high-quality double sided tape. It won’t damage the granite. **Q: Can this be cut to fit multiple areas?** A: Sure, I cut it with a sharp kitchen knife. It's soft foamy stuff. But don't forget to first unroll and lay it out straight for 12-24 hrs so it uncoils. ## Frequently Bought Together - Roving Cove HeftyFit Edge Protector for Baby Proofing (6ft Large Edge Only), Heavy-Duty Soft Rubber Foam Furniture Edge Bumper Guards, Desk Edge Cushion, Wall Corner Covers, 3M Adhesive, Onyx Black - Roving Cove HeftyFit Corner Protector for Baby (4 Large Corners), Heavy-Duty Soft Rubber Foam Furniture Corner Bumper Guards, 3M Adhesive Pre-Taped, Onyx Black - Roving Cove HeftyFit Edge Corner Protector Baby Proofing (Large 18ft Edge 8 Corners), Heavy-Duty, Soft NBR Rubber Foam, Furniture Fireplace Safety Bumper Guard, 3M Adhesive, Onyx Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/215032935-roving-cove-furniture-edge-protector-desk-edge-cover-large-6ft](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/215032935-roving-cove-furniture-edge-protector-desk-edge-cover-large-6ft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
