Great tasting little fish; they do taste a bit more like red licorice, but it's a great flavor
My wife even likes these fish and she doesn't normally like that sort of gummy. She usually likes the tart gummies, like Smart Sweets bears. We've tried a bunch of the Smart Sweets gummies, they all have their benefits and the gummy fish are a nice twist. I think they taste a little more like I recall red licorice to, but whatever it is, it's a fruity, cherry-punch like flavor that is very pleasant and has no aftertaste. I'm shocked anyone is still eating sugar nowadays. These types of candies don't bother my gut (like the older fake-sweeteners did) and they have great flavor and texture. I don't even miss "real" candy anymore, and my teeth certainly thank me, as well!

Diabetic fishes
I am a diabetic and I love sweets. I love that. These only have 3 g of sugar. I love the consistency and the taste. I even have people to eat regular sugar that love them.

Good but not the same as the classic
These taste really good, but they don't taste like swedish fish in my opinion. Their flavor reminds me more of a jolly rancher or red soft licorice. The texture is again more similar to soft licorice than a swedish fish. Overall they are a fun, soft, chewy candy. If you are looking for a sweet, chewy candy, these are great. Despite their good taste, I can't help being slightly disappointed because everytime I eat one I am expecting a swedish fish, but not tasting one. I may buy these again as a treat (they are pricey) but I need to train my mind to stop expecting the classic candy.

Tastes stale
The texture is different than they used to be. I thought at first they were stale, but looking at other reviews it looks like it’s a new formula? They are really hard to chew and taste different- a bit sweeter. They get stuck in your teeth.

Yummy 😋
These are delicious. The amount is perfect and is satisfying. Price is comparable to big warehouse store. Very fresh and I love the flavor.

New recipe change is awful & a dealbreaker at the same high price
I used to LOVE these. I would eat them all day long and they’ve been helping me kick habits of eating heavy sugar gas station type snacks. UNFORTUNATELY, they just changed the recipe. Not only are they now less healthy, especially for keto diets, but most importantly the taste and consistency is FAR WORSE. It’s changed so much that I have no plans on ever buying these again. I shared a few of these new ones with friends and family who also love the original recipe and they completely agreed that this is a huge downgrade. I don’t know why they made this change but it’s disheartening because I truly enjoyed having a healthy snack that was helping me build a healthier lifestyle. Now I have to look elsewhere unless they change it back. Even though these are super expensive for the quantity you receive in each bag, it was worth it for me. Now I wouldn’t eat these if they were free. The bright pink fish on the left is the new one, the right is the original. The new ones have a chalky consistency, taste somewhat medicinal, break up almost like bread in our mouth and lack the smooth feeling of the original recipe. Very upset. I called around to 15 GNC locations looking for any of the last of these original recipe packs and every single one is sold out (which is standard) because they are so popular. Why they would change the recipe so drastically is beyond me. Now I’m just hoping a different company sees the opportunity to enter the market (the high price point alone leaves an opening for competition). Hopefully though there will be enough complaints and a drop in sales that this company will change the recipe back. I was very proud to support them and the ambitious female founder - just hope I’m not alone in thinking the new ones are a massive downgrade and dealbreaker.

Expensive, tastes not amazing.
I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews due to this product no longer being keto friendly. I wanted to review this simply from a macro perspective, this review is not relevant to anyone wanting information for keto. The macros are ok. A bag of candy for 100 Cals to satisfy a sweet tooth isn’t bad. The flavor was very weird at first, it starts off almost tasteless and it takes a few seconds for the flavor to kick on, it starts to taste pretty good but then you get hit with an unpleasant after taste. I really disliked them at first but you start to get used to it as long as you don’t think of this as regular candy. This is a very pricey candy considering 6 servings is 16 dollars. Overall I think if you have the money and you are going into it aware that isn’t going to be different from regular candy I don’t think you will be super disappointed. It’s not amazing but it gets the job done.

Bring back the original formula!
They changed the ingredients. These don’t taste anywhere as good as the original formula, which I absolutely loved!! These are no longer worth the price.
