H&G lifestyles Misting System Calcium Inhibitor Filter for Mister

Working good as far as I know.

I finally slowed myself down to write my product review for the H & G Misters as well as the H & G water filters for my hose end. The summer seems to be busy busy but in all honesty, I have enjoyed the cooling misting myself the most. Ever since I was much younger I wished to have these misters on my patio and gardens. And “NOW I DO!!! The water filter attachment takes all the calcium hardness and everything that plug up your line especially when you want nice clear clean water in your pool so I say it is also essential to use when filling my 22’ pool. The water is fabulous and seems so soft. My hair drys better outside than with our shower water indoors. The grandkids go from pool to the misters back and forth. The screaming fall and laughter is the best.!!!! I plan to use and promote the greatness that these little misters will bring to you and others on a hot day when you just want to be able to sit or play outdoors. The filter is an addition you will likely want to say YES to as I did!!!!! If you ever wanted one of these or even consider them, I would say yes, go for it. I don’t think you’ll be sorry. Amazing cooling effect

I have a smaller system on my pergola(12'×10'×12')so it works good. Because the water in Arizona is so bad I switched to a larger RV one. So if you don't live in Arizona you'll be fine.

I purchased this to add to my hose so I can wash my car. I live in Vegas and the hard water and my retro' a tive water softener don't work. Every time I try to wash my car it streaks all over when it is dried. This item arrived two days ago and I immediately washed my car. Pulled it into the garage to dry in the shade and for the first time in years after I dried my car it looked Ike I went to the car wash. I love the results. I hope it lasts more than one washing. If it lasted two months it woukd be worth it. Now, I want to figure out how to wash My hair with this water filter. The same stuff that made my car smugy also weighs down my hair!

Junk - Do not buy. I was so hopeful to get a hose bib attachment for our chicken run misters to keep the calcium from building up but epic fail. Tried three out of four and all three wont get tight enough to even seal and just leak everywhere. The third one did not even come with the rubber O-ring, had to take one out of the first failed ones. When you just simply hand tighten them, they just strip out, get cross threaded and spew water everywhere. Did not even waste time to see if the fourth one would work, these are junk.

They work. But they leak at the seams I’ll have to seal them up myself. So if you like extra work with your purchase give them a try.

Works great

While I can tell that the filter has been removing some minerals, my misting sprayers are still getting clogged. Also, the threading for attaching this filter to the tap is very shallow. This, along with the soft plastic construction, makes it very difficult to create a tight seal. Had to use quick setting putty and strips of rubber to contain the leaking. Once I'm finished with it, I'll have to use a hammer and chisel to remove it. I would suggest passing on this one.

This system works great for the summer. I hang it in a tree in the shade and it keeps everyone cool in the summer. Gets more use then the pool
